Josh Schwartz sees the next big thing when he meets it. He's discovered some pretty awesome talent over the years on his shows, "The O.C.," "Gossip Girl," and, of course, "Chuck." Now with a film in the works, a remake of the classic Brooke Shields flick, "Endless Love," Josh tells MTV News that he's looking to now find the next big thing for the big screen.
"Oh geeze! I don't know [who I'd like to cast]," he told us at Cosmo's Fun Fearless Males party on Monday. "I'm producing it with Stephanie Savage, who I do 'Gossip Girl' with. I mean the fun thing is about the shows that I do is you get to discover new talent and I'm hoping to bring that to features, too."
While he didn't get specific about any casting options, he did tease "maybe it's somebody you would know. Maybe it's someone you haven’t seen yet before." And he did say that regardless of who does get picked to bring that passionate love affair back to the cinema landscape, he does know he's not quite ready to make those decisions just yet.
"It’s a little early," he said. "We just set it up. Certainly we have the good fortune of working with a lot of good young actors."
