'Alice In Wonderland' And Oscar Excitement In Today's Tweet Dreams

Will it be "Avatar" or "The Hurt Locker"? Meryl Streep or Sandra Bullock? Those are just some of the burning questions that will finally be answered at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards this Sunday (don't forget: Hollywood Crush will be live blogging the red carpet!). As Hollywood readies itself for its biggest night, the stars took to their Twitter pages to talk about all the frenzy surrounding it. Paula Abdul posted that she's "Very excited for Oscar weekend!!" while comedian and "My Boys" star, Jim Gaffigan, had a much more jaded take on it, writing, "I can't wait to see who wins most popular, I mean best actor."

This weekend also brings the long-awaited release of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's twisted take on the classic tale "Alice in Wonderland." The reviews are already in and it seems like some think it could very well wind up at the 2011 Oscars! Actress Meaghan Martin tweeted, "Such a brilliant movie! Go see it immediately. I want to be Alice when I grow up... I always have. :-)" and comedian/actress Aisha Tyler told followers how much she loved "Alice" too, "Just saw Alice in Wonderland 3D. Awe. Some. I'm giving up drinking & will just wear 3D glasses around from now on: "Dude! I am SO 3D'ed."
