"Up In The Air" star and Oscar Nominee Anna Kendrick looked like a delicate flower just plucked from the earth in her off-the-shoulder blush Elie Saab gown tonight. She said that the frock was a last-minute decision (she was going to wear a dark blue one instead), but we are so, so happy the spunky actress went with something so sweet.
Her fresh makeup added to her winning look and we've got all the details on how to recreate her canvas. According to a release, makeup artist Sara Glick, who used Arcona skincare and tarte cosmetics, first prepped Anna's skin with Arcona's Magic White Ice hydrating gel. "Anna has beautiful skin and doesn't need much to make it glow," Sara said.
Next, to add a "natural flush," the actress' cheek bones were accented by dabbing tarte's natural cheek stain in "eco-cheek" on them. Sara adds that she wanted to continue this natural look with a "healthy pink lip." So she chose tarte's LipSurgence natural lip stain in charmed (light pink) as a base, the layered on the "samantha side" of tarte's double-ended natural lipglosses in jake & samantha.
Finally, "I finished with a light spritz of lavender mist for added hydration and an extra dose of calming with aromatherapy," explained the makeup artist. She used Arcona's Lavendar Hydrasol, which helps give a dewy complexion.
