'True Blood' Season 3 Scoop: Stephen Moyer Talks Bill's Reunion With Civil War-Era Wife

Sookie better watch it! Bill's going to "reunite" with his wife, Caroline Compton. And, that means that there will be some expected drama set to take place in season three. But, when we asked Bill, we mean "True Blood" star Stephen Moyer, about Shannon Lucio joining the show (she's replacing the actress who formerly played his wife in a series of flashbacks, Amber Dawn Landrum), he, in typical vampire form, refused to dish out very much info about her — except that she is very delightful.

"She is lovely, and we do see her in a flashback to Bill's days," Stephen told MTV News. "I don’t want to give too much, but she is back in Louisiana at a time when he is in the Civil War. So there is that scene. There's all sorts of things and I'm not going to tell you about — any of them!"

OK fine, Stephen, we'll take what we can get. After all, he did indirectly answer our earlier query about whether or not Caroline's character will only be in flashbacks or if there would be a twist.

Plus, we're still giving him two fangs up for revealing how cool it was to work with real wolves on set. "I've been working with real wolves and I mean you don’t get to do that very often," Stephen shared. "We've got real wolves in the show amazing. They're beautiful and huge and wild and they feel like they're the size of lions. It's unbelievable."
