Consider it a practice performance. Gearing up for his Kids' Choice Awards performance, where he'll be rocking with none other than Rihanna later this month, Justin Bieber took the stage at the 2010 Nickelodeon upfronts at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday. The Beebs, looking very color-coordinated in some vibrant purple sneaks and tee, got close on the red carpet with Nick stars Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice and boy band Big Time Rush. He later sang his hit songs "One Time" and "Baby," showing off some impressive footwork. (Does Usher teach him his moves?)
The upfronts announced upcoming shows to be on the watch for, as well as the return of some Nick favorites. The highlights? All you "iCarly" fans can rest easy, Cosgrove's Carly Shay and her Web show will be back for a new season. You can also watch out for Victoria Justice (a.k.a Lola Martinez from Jamie Lynn Spears' show "Zoey 101"), who will now be starring in her own show "Victorious," a fictional "Taking the Stage" that follows Justice's character at an elite performing arts school. The show promises an ensemble cast of teens ... I wonder who else will be on the cast list? Cutie boy band Big Time Rush will be back for another season too.
Also on hand were director M. Night Shyamalan to talk about his upcoming film "The Last Airbender," starring "Twilight's" own Jackson Rathbone (did we mention the "Eclipse" trailer was released today!?), and "Fanboy and Chum Chum's" Jamie Kennedy.
