Jessica Simpson’s love life has been the topic of conversation for years. From the moment she stepped into the public eye documenting her marriage to Nick Lachey on MTV’s “Newlyweds,” the media has been fascinated with Jess’ romances. So, now that she’s been promoting her new Vh1 series “The Price of Beauty,” it’s only natural that everyone would try to get the scoop on her personal life.
Jess appeared on “The View” earlier today, and the ladies did their best to pry about who she’s dating, and how she feels about those over-the-top comments ex-boyfriend John Mayer recently made about their sex life.
Though Jess has seemingly taken John’s comments with a grain of salt, she admits she is just a little embarrassed by his candid interview with Playboy where he referred to her as “sexual napalm.” "Yes, my phone has been ringing. It's more embarrassing 'cause I'll walk into a restaurant or something and I'll notice more men are looking at me," she said. "And he'll never have this napalm again. Well, [I don't need to curse him out], that's why I do shows like this!"
John may have left a bad taste in her mouth, but Jess isn’t giving up her dreams of becoming a mom and having a family. "I can't wait to have kids. Well, honestly, if I don't have kids by the time I'm 40, my best friend [and hairstylist] Ken Paves and I are going to have children," she said. "Oh no! I'm not pregnant!"
And the ladies wouldn’t do their job if they didn’t address the burning question on everyone’s mind as far as her relationship with Billy Corgan goes — is she or isn’t she? Still, Jess denies the rumors that the two are romantically linked. "Billy is one of my dear friends and he did help arrange the song. He understands my heart and knew what I wanted to do."
