'Life Unexpected' Star Britt Robertson 'Grew Up' Watching Costar Kerr Smith On 'Dawson's Creek'

By now you already know that we here at Hollywood Crush are major "Life Unexpected" fans. We love the concept, the writing and the cast, but we especially love the fact that it reminds us of some of of the classic dramas we devoted our formative teen years to watching like "Dawson's Creek."  So, when Britt Robertson, who started watching the "Creek" via reruns, talked about her love for the now defunct show we were all ears.

"I was really, really in love with 'Dawson's,'" she revealed (we feel ya Britt). Of course, Britt's got a different perspective on the whole show since it starred Kerr Smith, who now plays her mom's (Shiri Appleby) on-again off-again boyfriend on the CW series

"I know the whole gambit of his character," she said (for those of you who've forgotten, Kerr used to play Katie Holmes' boyfriend-turned- gay coed Jack on "Dawson's").  "It's actually cool to be working with him now because I grew up watching him, which is kind of bizarre."

Hmm, we wonder if her connection to Kerr through "Dawson's" is the reason she's on Team Ryan now...
