"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon was arrested on Wednesday. Brendan, who played Xander on the vampire series, was arrested during the early morning hours on Wednesday in Venice, CA after authorities got a call that an intoxicated individual was causing a commotion, according to TMZ.
TMZ also reported that Nicholas swung at cops and then tried to run away from authorities. He was then tased twice before he was taken to a hospital. Later, he was booked on felony vandalism charges for causing some damage in the brouhaha. Access Hollywood reported that Brendan is currently being held on $20,000 bail.
Brendan won the hearts of "Buffy" fans everywhere as the silly, dorky Xander. Since "Buffy" ended in 2003, he has worked steadily, done the rounds and guest-starred on several TV shows, including Hollywood Crush favorite, "Criminal Minds." He also had a role in the under-appreciated TV flick, "Celeste in the City." Additionally, he was seen on the short-lived show, "Kitchen Confidential." He's also got two projects supposedly set for release this year, "The Portal" and "Sweet Lorriane."
