If, since MTV's chat with "Glee" star Jessalyn Gilsig, you've decided to join Team Terri, you're about to be singing a very happy tune. And so will she! Jessalyn, who revealed there is not only some unfinished business between Terri and her estranged hubby Will (Matthew Morrison) and his new squeeze Emma (Jayma Mays) in the return of season one, but the craft closet enthusiast will finally be getting her own musical number!
While Jessalyn wouldn't spill which song she'll be singing, the actress didn't shy away from the opportunity, even though she had her doubts, telling Hollywood Crush, "When you watch 'American Idol' you think 'I could do this!' then you do something like this and you think, 'Maybe not!'"
Jessalyn, who will be appearing in the "bulk of the end of the nine new episodes," (the show returned to filming in January,) said she has been around to work with upcoming (and highly anticipated) guest star Neil Patrick Harris and told us his time on the show is, "so far, so great!" Jessalyn said of NPH, who is set to play Mr. Schue's old glee club nemesis (and possible fling for Sue Sylvester?!). "He's so talented and has the musical chops, there's no way to give him the proper credit. I adore him."
Another talented songster Jessalyn adores? Madonna, who is getting her very own homage via the students and staff of McKinley High School in an upcoming episode. Jessalyn says she's excited to see "Glee" give credit to the "trailblazer," adding, "We take so much for granted what Madonna gave to music and (pop culture.)." As if we weren't excited enough, the actress then confirmed, "the (all-Madonna) episode is sick." "Glee" finally returns to FOX on Tuesday, April 13 at 9 p.m.
What song do you think Jessalyn's Terri should sing?
