"Glee" is about to return to the small screen in a big way, and I’m not talking about the new episodes. I’m talking about "Oprah"! The "Oprah Winfrey Show" has scheduled the plucky bunch, along with show creator Ryan Murphy, for an entire episode on April 7 dedicated solely to all things "Glee."
No, you’re not the only one excited about this news. Cory Monteith — a.k.a. Finn Hudson — tweeted today, “We’re going on Oprah! April 7th! Gonna be a blast.”
Entertainment Weekly reported that the April 7 episode will include far more than just a musical performance. Oprah will also interview the entire cast (plus Ryan) and reveal never-before-seen backstage video. The L.A. Times has verified that Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Cory and Matthew Morrison are already confirmed.
And Oprah isn’t the only important lady who’s demanding more "Glee." Two days before their performance, the cast will perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Apparently First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters are huge "Glee" fans in their own right.
Can’t wait to watch the gang continue singing their way to the top? Tune into Oprah on 4:00pm EST on April 7 on ABC!
