Though Amanda Seyfried seemed to confirm to E! at the Academy Awards earlier this month that she was set to star in Catherine Hardwicke's "The Girl With The Red Riding Hood," when she spoke with MTV News recently, she seemed to hint that wasn't the case.

"I think so. Negotiations," Amanda said about whether or not she would be starring in the film. "I don't know if I'm definitely doing it. I hope it works out."

It's 9:01 in the morning on a hot and sunny day. Film crews are working on their second take of the sixteenth scene of an undisclosed episode of "True Blood" — and poor Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) has seen better days.

Continuing last week's launch of a series of "True Blood" teasers entitled "Waiting Sucks," HBO has just debuted yet another preview offering fans a brief taste of events to come during the show's upcoming third season. While last week's teaser focused on a bloodied Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) angrily interrogating an unidentified assailant, this week's centers on everybody's favorite shape-shifter Sam and an unknown gunman.

Beware of possible spoilers after the jump!

Saturday night the stars hit the town for Nickelodeon's 23rd annual Kids' Choice Awards and you know what? They all looked pretty great. After all, if we were going to an awards show where there was even a slight possibility of getting slimed, we would probably wear our oldest hoodie and tennis shoes. To get the dish on the orange carpet wears, check out our fashion recap below!

TAYLOR LAUTNER
Taylor Lautner must have loved his life at this weekend's KCAs. Not only did the guy take home the first award of the night for favorite movie actor thanks to his role in "New Moon," but he looked great doing it. He dressed pretty much how we'd like all guys to dress — simple but sharp in a dark blazer and white tee. He gets bonus points for accessorizing with a silver necklace that wasn't over the top.

It seems like many of our favorite stars are releasing new movies soon or in the very near future. We all got psyched for Miley Cyrus' new flick, "The Last Song", this week, thanks to an exclusive clip starring Liam Hemsworth playing beach volleyball.

In the scene, Miley was gifted with an eyeful of Liam… without his shirt on. As far as we can tell, this movie is going to rock as hard as Liam's abs! The ladies of "Sex and The City" also gave us a little taste of what we can expect when the sequel to their big-screen adaptation hits theaters this May. Want a hint? Well, SJP wasn't giving too many!

It's a small world, after all, even in Hollywood. There were more than a few famous run-ins today, like Stacy Keibler who saw a bevy of stars at lunch, tweeting, "Only in LA can you go to lunch and at the tables around you are Mark Wahlberg, Sacha Baron Cohen, David Beckham and Puffy." Meanwhile, in New York City, Lance Bass shared a cup of joe (well, sort of) with Jon Stewart (both pictured), posting, "Having coffee w Jon Stewart- well actually he is standing next to me in line at Starbucks. That counts right?"

In Chicago, Ryan Seacrest shared an intimate moment with Oprah telling followers, "On @oprah today, love her, she dropped by my dressing room in slippers and haircurlers, I had slippers and a flat iron :)" All the while "Fame" actress Anna Perez de Tagle just wanted a certain celebrity encounter of her own, writing, "Hi Josh Duhamel? I hope you're sitting next to me on this flight pretty please. Haha"

Nicholas Sparks' latest big screen rendition, "The Last Song," is almost here! We're excited to see Miley Cyrus take a role different from what we've seen on "Hannah Montana." More importantly, we're also excited to see her character, Ronnie, a rebellious teen, begin a hot summer romance with town local Will (Liam Hemsworth).

Want a taste of the their onscreen chemistry? In the clip below, Ronnie is hanging out on the beach at night when Will stops by unexpectedly, planning to camp out. As a true gentleman, he comes with lantern and music in tow and she mocks him for overpacking: "Are you moving in?" she asks. Ronnie's father (Greg Kinnear) and brother Jonah (Bobby Coleman), meanwhile, are comically spying on them from the house, eager to see what's going on, insisting that they " maintain visual contact."

Will you be seeing "The Last Song" next week? Why or why not?

"There are some really cool action scenes," Jackson told Hollywood Crush. So I hope to see a lot more of the action [in the next 'Eclipse' trailer]."
