The ArcLight Hollywood theater was overtaken by Disney stars and one hot new couple last night when L.A. rolled out the red carpet for the premiere of Nicholas Sparks' flick (out March 31), "The Last Song." We won't waste anymore of your time giving specifics because we know you just want to see the celebs and read about what they wore — so without further adieu...

The lovebirds — in the film and in real lifeMiley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth looked quite chic in Calvin Klein (him) and leather (her). In her sophisticated, one shoulder dress, we found ourselves forgetting that Miley was only 17-years-old, and we're not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Was the dress a bit too mature for her (leather is, after all, quite sexy!)? Maybe. But the sleek silhouette combined with her clean hairstyle and fresh makeup gave her an A+ in our red carpet book!

Last year Kate Hudson played a beautiful, bratty bride who wouldn't rest until she got what she wanted in the comedy "Bride Wars." Now she'll play, well, a beautiful, bratty bride who gets everything she wants in "Something Borrowed." Kate has officially filled in the last piece of the casting puzzle as Variety announced that the actress will play Darcy in the film adaptation of Emily Giffin's beloved chick lit book.

The author seemed quite pleased with the final addition to the cast, writing on her Facebook page, "It's official!!!! Kate Hudson will be playing Darcy! ... I know she doesn't physically resemble Darcy, but I think she is PERFECT for this role and will knock this out of the park. She is gorgeous and can play manipulative and self-absorbed, yet charming and vulnerable.... I am thrilled and hope you are too!!"

The Irish film "The Eclipse" is finally making its way to American theaters today after almost a year on the film festival circuit. When we heard this news, we couldn't help be reminded of a certain other film with a very similar name that we wish was coming out this Friday.

So, despite the fact we still have a little more than three months to wait until "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" hits theaters, we decided to find all the striking "similarities" between the two films to make going to see "The Eclipse" be almost the equivalent of watching "Eclipse."

If you were evil vampire Damon Salvatore and you just found out that the woman you love hadn't been trapped in a tomb for the past 200 years as you had previously thought but was instead free and totally able to reconnect with you at any time during those two centuries (just go with it), how would you handle it? I personally would've gone on a killing spree, but I guess drowning your sorrows in booze and women like Damon did on last night's episode of "The Vampire Diaries" is a viable alternative.

Damon handled the news of Katherine's safety remarkably well (for him) by drinking lots of scotch and having a vampire orgy with some college girls in lingerie, compelling them to let him bite them and presumably have sex (though we hope he didn't have to compel them to do that -- Damon is no legit sexual predator), then returning them to their dorm rooms. Whatever works, right?

Cute new couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato didn't just make a splash during their duet on last night's "American Idol," they made a "Wave." The beloved-by-tweens duo belted out their new tune "Make a Wave" together on the show and both seemed quite pleased with how it all went. Joe wrote to fans this morning, "Thanks to everyone who watched American Idol last night! @ddlovato and I had a great time. Demi posted, "What an incredible day... Thanks to everyone who tuned in to American Idol tonight!!! :)."

If Demi's dream is to be killed on an episode of "South Park" she's simply going to have to play second fiddle to the Kardashian sisters, as Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney all reached their untimely end during last night's episode. But, it seems the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" stars got quite a kick out of their animated demise. Kim tweeted, "Did anyone see SouthPark yesterday? Kourtney, Khloe and I got killed! LOL." Khloe also had a good sense of humor about the whole thing, "AMAAAAAAZING!!!!!! http://bit.ly/apiLe0 I seriously died! No pun intended LOL."

How could it be that such entertainment giants as Jennifer Lopez, Johnny Depp, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt and P. Diddy are all together in one place, and all being outshined by one star, Robert Pattinson? While fans of the British actor would argue it’s because of box office smash films like "New Moon", it may have a bit more to do with each of them being made of wax. Earlier today, Rob's figure was finally unveiled.

MTV News was on the scene as the historical moment unfolded, and we can report that Robert’s recently-made immortal figure provoked many screams and yells from the hordes of fans waiting outside Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square bright and early (yup, one got there at 4 a.m.!) When given a chance to stand beside fake Rob, they acted exactly as we'd imagine they would next to real Rob — with laughter, kisses, shrieks and hugs. There were also plenty of hands running through his soft hair.

While blood is certainly a vampire's food product of choice, who's to say that these mysterious creatures of the night don't need a caffeine jolt every now and again? In fact, the marketing team behind the upcoming third season of "True Blood" wants you to know that even a bloodsucker can enjoy a good cup of joe once in a while.

HBO has released a new poster to promote "True Blood," which begins airing its third season on June 13th. It's a simple, direct but nonetheless completely jarring image — a coffeemaker brewing a big hot pot of blood.

The end of "Ugly Betty" is near (only three new episodes left!) and as much as it's making us want to lock ourselves into the decadent hallways of Mode magazine so that we never have to say goodbye, we're starting to realize that the parting is inevitable.

Betty herself, America Ferrera, is too. "It was such a wonderful period of my life and that's going to take a little bit of time to digest," she told MTV News while promoting her new flick, the animated "How To Train Your Dragon." With only one week left on the set with Mark, Wilhelmina, Daniel and Co., America adds that she hasn't even had time to consider what's next. "Right now it's too much to think about even jumping straight into another thing that would be that long term."
