Is the June 13, 2010 season premiere date for the third year of "True Blood" too far off for your tastes? Yeah, ours too! Luckily, HBO has heard the cries of fangdom loud and clear, and while they aren't speeding up the first episode's release, they're offering the next best thing — a series of "True Blood" teasers.
HBO will broadcast a new behind-the-scenes video of "True Blood" every Sunday for the next six weeks, and the first of these clips is certainly a doozy for fans of Eric Northman, the ageless Swedish vampire played by Alexander Skarsgard.
Miley Cyrus appeared on "The View" today to promote "The Last Song". Walking onto the set in a pair of super-tall, suede fringed boots and a black-and-tan layered outfit, Miley was sporting a confident and casual attitude (and some seriously shiny hair) as she sat down to talk about new movies, new romance and family ties.
It's been a tumultuous couple years for Miley as she's tried to shed the wholesome little-girl image of her "Hannah Montana" years (including a public spat with a news commentator on MSNBC for her Teen Choice Awards "pole dancing" routine), but the ladies of "The View" had much more important things to talk about than the tongue-clucking of disapproving old buddies: Namely, Miley's boyfriend and "Last Song" costar Liam Hemsworth.
Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with staff members. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian took a bite out of life on Sunday when they enjoyed a meal together at DeVito South Beach. Kourtney is certainly familiar with the Miami steakhouse after filming an episode of her reality show there — with other sister Khloe — earlier this month. Apparently Kourtney enjoyed the food so much first time around that when Kim came to town she made time for seconds! Exec producer Kim, who's moving forward with “The SPINdustry,” likely has important advice for Kourtney on TV endeavors, which could be why they look so serious. Are you ready to dig into season 2 of “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami”?

Zack Snyder has best known for his kick-butt guy action flicks and CGI ab capabilities, so the fact that his next big live action film, "Sucker Punch," stars some of our favorite ladies as the film's heroines got us pretty excited. Better yet, "Bandslam" star and girlfriend to Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, will be leading the pack.
MTV News got a chance to catch up with Vanessa at ShoWest and ask her a bit about the film, which hits theaters in 2011. "I'm very excited about it because I finally get to be an extreme badass and kick butt," she exclaimed.
We make lists all the time, whether it’s a shopping list, grocery store list, a to-do list, a check list … but has anyone ever made a break up list? In the new film, “Breaking Upwards,” which screened at the South by Southwest film festival, real-life NYC couple, Daryl Wein and Zoe Lister Jones do just that — strategize a plan for their own separation. Interesting to say the least!
In this exclusive clip of the film, we see Daryl and Zoe sit down to come up with their own “goals” that range from what one might expect, such as trying new things, to control over one’s Netflix queue and stating claim over public space.
Not as though we had doubts that the upcoming all-Madonna episode of "Glee" would be anything short of epic, Jessalyn Gilsig (who plays Will Schuester's, er, misunderstood estranged wife Terri) confirmed to us that it is, in fact, "sick." The buzz building around the episode has gotten so big, they've already opted to release the episode's soundtrack! "Glee: The Music, The Power of Madonna" is set for an April 20th release (the show itself finally returns on April 13th), but is already on pre-sale on Amazon.com.
The seven-song album features eight Madonna songs (we see a mash-up!) including, "Express Yourself," "Borderline," "Open Your Heart," "Vogue." "Like a Virgin," "4 Minutes," "What it Feels Like for a Girl" and "Like a Prayer." We've already heard a sneak peek of New Directions take on "Express Yourself" in last month's promo (not to mention a glimpse at Sue Sylvester donning Madge's cone bra) but it will be exciting to hear who else took on the iconic pop star.
A few years has passed in the world of Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha since the time of "Sex and the City" the movie. When MTV caught up with the actresses behind the fabulous foursome at ShoWest in Las Vegas, they gave some insight as to what the ladies have been up to leading up to "Sex and the City 2."
"This time around, Carrie has been married for a couple of years. She is about to publish her fourth book. She is content," Sarah Jessica Parker teased. "She and her husband, John, have found a nice and modest apartment, and they are living their lives, and she is seeing her friends as much as time allows."
"I would love to talk about 'Breaking Dawn' because I would love to know what's going on," she admitted with a laugh. "All I know is that hopefully something is going to happen, and I can't wait to hear about it, because I am just as anxious as you and everybody else. We just don't know anything yet."
"You're telling me for the first time. I was trying to ask them earlier today, and they wouldn't give me anything," Nikki admitted after MTV told her Gus and Sophia were being considered. "But all the directors that you mentioned, I mean, they would be fantastic, both of those people. Either one. I mean, we would be honored."
