Whether you're a prankster, or an unwilling recipient, there's simply no ignoring April Fool's Day, not even in the Twitterverse. Olivia Wilde warned followers, "remember people, today is a dangerous day. TRUST NO ONE." Nicole Richie had some tricks up her sleeve for pal Pete Wentz posting, "I had a PERFECT prank for @petewentz, but he caught me! Grrrrrrrrrrr. Gonna have to step up my game." But, we have to give credit to Joel McHale for pulling off today's best prank, as "The Soup" host hijacked Ryan Seacrest's twitter. The funnyman wrote "I'm Joel McHale. I've taken over Ryan's Twitter and his treehouse. Anyone know how to bake cookies?" He even changed Ryan's entire homepage to include only pictures of himself!
Celebs weren't just messing with one another, as many tweeted jokes to their fans. "New Moon" star Tinsel Korey convinced some she had a new gig, writing, "I just found out I got green-lit for my own show called "Cooking with the Wolfgirl" YAY!!!" while singer Ciara pulled the mother of all April Fool's jokes, tweeting, "3months pregnant:(...whats a girl to do??....this is going to be hard:( no more spanx:(....." Elsewhere, Joe Jonas tried to pull our leg by posting, "I just broke my leg.." Nice try, Joe!
