As soon as the mid-season finale of "Fringe" aired in February, we realized we'd all have to face facts about who and what Peter Bishop really is: A hottie from a parallel reality. Thank goodness the show returns tonight (yes!!) because we're so looking forward to learning much more about Peter and his strange history here on this Earth — and, uh, that other version of Earth.
Thinking about Peter (swoon!) made us reminisce about why we fell in love with Joshua Jackson all over again (you know, since he left the "Creek") thanks to his turn on "Fringe."

He can speak many different languages
Over the course of the show's almost two season run, we have noticed that Peter is one smart dude. He's managed to understand and speak a slew of different languages. You know what that means, right? He has plenty of ways to whisper sweet nothings in our ears.
He's kind of a con artist
If Peter and "White Collar" criminal Matt Bomer taught us anything, it's that the smoother the criminal the better. He may be the sweetest guy in the universe, but we like that Peter has a bit of a sketchy past. We also love that he's taken up a number of really strange jobs (wild land fireman, cargo pilot, college chemistry professor) thanks to his aforementioned ability to sweet talk.
He dresses well
A man who likes sharp neutrals and grays is a man after our own heart. Peter keeps it simple and wears it all well. Most notably, of course, is that foxy winter jacket he's been donning this season. It looks perfectly hot on him.
So there you have it, a few of the many reasons we continue to adore Joshua's Peter. You can bet we'll be tuning in tonight to come up with a few more!
