Steve Carell and Tina Fey play a married couple in this week's release, "Date Night." So when MTV News got a hold of the duo, it seemed fitting that we have them take a compatibility test. Why? Well, because it's totally useful to know how perfect these two would be together if they were, you know, actually in love in real life. Plus, as Tina put it: "We are [really] married people, but I like this test."
Question 1: "Star Trek" or "Star Wars"
Both: "Star Wars"
Question 2: "True Blood" or "Twilight"
Steve: "True Blood."
Tina: Neither. I've never seen either.
Steve: [interjects with a hint of embarrassment] I've never seen either!
Question 3: "Avatar" or "Titanic"
Both: "Titanic"
Tina: I like really very real tragedies. That's how I entertain myself.
Steve: You know what they apparently had to cut out of that movie were the dogs swimming in the water. People were bummed out because they saw dogs struggling for their lives, but the old couple [they were like], 'woo!'"
Question 4: Cuddling… Are you the big spoon or the little spoon?
Steve: I'm the big spoon.
Tina: I'm the little spoon. The woman is generally the smaller spoon.
Steve: Unless the woman is bigger.
Tina: Unless it' Lucy Lawless and Dudley Moore.
Steve: Where did that reference come from?
Question 4: How open would you say you are to sexual experimentation?
Tina: Not at all. When you say experimentation, I take it very literally like writing stuff down and a Bunsen burner. It seems like a drag.
Steve: I'll pass.
We give their compatibility a 50 percent. They agreed on one and three, but there were some issues with two and four. Still, we imagine they can make it work — if there's no "experimentation" involved!
Will you be seeing "Date Night" this weekend? Do you think Tina and Steve are compatible?
