She’s told us a love story, taken us on a journey through the first day of high school and now she’s showing us her fashionable side. Taylor Swift illuminates the inside of Vogue’s May issue, taking part in a photo-shoot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz and opening up about her exciting new life!
Pictured in a smokey blue dress, laced with glittery sheen, Taylor is rightfully dubbed, “The Dazzler.” She stands out against the somber sky, rocking Victorian inspired boots, her dreamy waves, and of course her guitar. With her 21st birthday in December, she’s growing up, making some changes and using her music to tell us about it. In the issue she talks about her new album being who she is today, saying "I don't think I could put on a new character for two years of my life if it wasn't really what I was going through. I have these formulas for making music; they're almost mathematical: Who are you today? What did you write about in your diary? What idea hit you at 4:00 A.M.?"
One of the changes in her life is moving out of her parent’s house. Taylor purchased a house in Nashville, which she promises isn’t massive, joking, “I didn't want to have to MapQuest to get to the kitchen.” And that’s the thing about Taylor, no matter how famous she gets, she still manages to keep herself grounded. She’s the youngest person to ever win a Grammy for Album of the Year (she was 20) but she’ll trade caviar for the Cracker Barrel.

And looking back at it all, she can’t even believe how lucky she is, "…what these past two years have been for me, it feels like this magical dream of, Really? We toured all over the world? We played an arena in London? This is happening? Readjusting my goals and dreams has been something I've had to do a lot lately."
Do you think Taylor Swift is a "dazzler"?
