You may ask yourself, what does one youth in revolt, one hot vampire and one girl that isn’t afraid to get a little beastly have in common? Well for one thing, they all share the cover of Nylon’s May issue. It has come time for the mag’s annual Young Hollywood issue and among the many “fresh” faces are Portia Doubleday, Ashley Greene and Vanessa Hudgens.
This three’s company got together and gave their two-cents on the new Young Hollywood and how they are living in it. “We’re not all crazy!” said the "Twilight" star Ashley, “…I feel like that whole generation, that’s dying down now, thinks they’re higher than God and can do whatever they want. [Young Hollywood] now are people who really love the business.”

Ashley also reveals to Nylon how by being apart of Young Hollywood has affected her personal life — especially when it comes to paparazzi. "Yeah, I know their cars. But there’s always people sitting outside my house. I put my own security system in my apartment because you have to worry about people getting a little too obsessed.” I wonder if Alice Cullen saw that one coming!
It is no wonder paparazzi are following these starlets around because from the looks of things it doesn’t seem as though they are going anywhere. She may have graduated from “High School Musical”, but that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Vanessa Hudgens. With two upcoming films, “Beastly” also starring Mary Kate Olsen, and “Sucker Punch,” Vanessa let Nylon in on some movie deets that luckily for you we have and are willing to share.

“At one point, we all play hookers.” Vanessa reveals about “Sucker Punch,” “And there are burlesque shows! I do a belly dance in the most amazing belly-dance costume you have ever seen in your life... Watch me in ‘Sucker Punch,' and you’ll be afraid of me”

Whether or not we are afraid of you in “Sucker Punch,” Vanessa, you are the last person to be fearful of in “Beastly” when standing next to Alex Pettyfer (Kyle) or Mary Kate (Kendra). While Mary Kate may play a witch in the film, in the real world she is anything but, “I love her!” Vanessa says about her co-star, “I used to be in her fan club!...When we were in Montreal, we’d go shopping and she’d take me to vintage stores and I would literally just follow her around being like, ‘Help me! What do you look for? Please tell me. Give me your shirts. What’s your shirt secret?’”

And while Portia Doubleday may star in “Youth in Revolt” she isn’t one to rebel.“I would still rather do well in class than book a job," she told the mag. "That’s the honest truth ... I always knew this is what I'd be doing, I just didn't know I'd be doing it so soon!"
What did you think about what Ashley, Vanessa and Portia had to say? Who else do you this is apart of this "new" Young Hollywood?
