Last month, Jessalyn Gilsig (a.k.a. Mr. Shuester's pregnancy-faking estranged wife, Terri), told Hollywood Crush that she would be getting her very own musical number on "Glee." At the time, she kept mum on what song she would be singing, but like most celebrities, we've managed to wear her down!
At the spring premiere of "Glee" on April 12 in L.A., Jessalyn confirmed, "It's a Beck song," adding, "Isn't that cool? It's a little departure for the show and in a very unexpected location, and with a very unexpected grouping of cast members."
We can't quite say who those backup singers will be (though we're so voting on Finn and Punk!), but we do know now that the Beck song is "Loser." "It's really, really fun," Jessalyn said. "I had the most incredible time shooting that [scene]."
According to Idolator, that song is among the track listings for Glee: The Music, Vol. 3 – Showstoppers. The album, which will be released on May 18, will have two versions. The deluxe one will include "Loser," plus songs like Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" (performed by Idina Menzel) and Bette Midler's "Rose's Turn."
Are you excited for Terri to get her time in the spotlight? Will you be buying the new "Glee" soundtrack when it comes out?
