Is there any better way to celebrate the release of Jake Gyllenhaal’s “Prince of Persia” than with a recreation of the film’s trailer… in LEGOS?!? The answer to this question was proven this morning to be absolutely not. Well, I shouldn’t really say this morning, because it took MTV News' very own Brian Jacks three weeks to recreate the action-packed trailer. And I even got to build some of the Legos myself, which was the highlight of my career, but nonetheless: it’s at least as good as the original.
So if you’ve ever pondered what it would be like to see Jake act in pure Lego form — and don’t try to tell me you haven’t — stop wondering. Watch this clip of Lego dramatic genius now. It will take hold of you, thrill you, pluck the strings of your heart, and you won’t find it anywhere else! The cinematography is excellent; the scenery is breathtaking and the action is first rate. All of a sudden, I want to watch the entire film like this.
What do you think of our version of the "Prince of Persia" trailer? Are you going to see the real film?
