Miranda Cosgrove may have just released her album, Sparks Fly, and she might be busy with the current season of "iCarly." And, let's not forget that she's set to star in "Despicable Me" this summer! As of today, Miranda is adding another project to her full plate.
Variety reports that she will star in the film, "How Can You Do This to Me?" Paramount has British author and screenwriter Emma Forrest on board to develop the feature, which has been in the works since early '09, for the Nickelodeon star.
Emma is set to rewrite the story about "teen whose life is turned upside down when her divorced parents try to revive their relationship."
Until the film's release, fans can get a Miranda fix by listening to her album, which hit stores on Tuesday. “Pretty much all of the songs are pop-rock,” Miranda told MTV News of her sound. “I got to co-write on a lot of the songs. I was trying to find my musical style. I’ve been playing guitar since I was little.”
For the album, she worked with Claude Kelly, Ke$ha, Dr. Luke and the Matrix. So, what does she love most about some of the songs on her album? “I love songs that are a little tongue-in-cheek,” she said.
