Miranda Cosgrove may have just released her album, Sparks Fly, and she might be busy with the current season of "iCarly." And, let's not forget that she's set to star in "Despicable Me" this summer! As of today, Miranda is adding another project to her full plate.
Variety reports that she will star in the film, "How Can You Do This to Me?" Paramount has British author and screenwriter Emma Forrest on board to develop the feature, which has been in the works since early '09, for the Nickelodeon star.

With all of the vampires, werewolves and mind-readers in the mix, sometimes it's easy to forget about one of the other great supernatural species on "True Blood" — the shapeshifters. Of course, it doesn't help that shapeshifters, by their very definition, can shape-shift into just about anything that they want to become in the animal kingdom.
Over the years, we've seen benevolent bartender Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) transform into a great many creatures from adorable dogs to buzzing bugs, and from the looks of the latest poster for the third season of "True Blood," we're about to see a whole new batch of shape-shifting iterations!
Check out the poster after the jump!

To those born between 1970 and 1985, Molly Ringwald is an icon. She was John Hughes’ muse; the quintessential girly girl, the teen queen that rocked our world in the cult classics of the 80s like "Sixteen Candles," "Pretty in Pink" and "The Breakfast Club." So when I found out Molly had written a book and was doing an in-store signing in Tribeca on Tuesday, I knew I had to be there.
I arrived 30 minutes before the appearance, to a modest crowd, which was equally composed of both women and men, dressed mainly in after-work business attire. I guess in my mind, I envisioned hundreds of 16-year-old girls in homemade dresses made of mismatched floral prints a la Andie from "Pretty in Pink" (though there was one look alike).

All of the sudden, this week, the dynamic for this summer's movie releases got a little bit more intense. Universal released an announcement that they were moving around their release dates, and bumped the Philip K. Dick adaptation "The Adjustment Bureau" from July 30 to Sept. 17. That meant they had an empty release slot in the middle of the blockbuster season, and decided against all odds to move the Zac Efron-starring "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud" up from Oct. 15 to July 30.
The fact that releasing "Charlie St. Cloud" on that day coincides with the release of the Vanessa Hudgens film "Beastly" cannot be just coincidence. Now not only will July 30 be the battle of the angsty dramas appealing to the younger Disney crowd, but it will also show which side of the Zac/Vanessa couple has the biggest box office draw (and, most importantly, it's also my birthday!).

This girls intense, seductive smoky eyes will lure you to May’s issue of Avenue Canada. With strategically tousled hair, a stern pout and a pose that screams “I’m ready for anything,” actress Sara Canning is letting everyone know she has arrived. In a telling interview, she dives into discussing her quick rise to fame, no-failure attitude and obsession with the paranormal.
The undead might scare some people away but not Sara, which is why there couldn’t have been a better show to have catapulted her to fame than The CW’s "The Vampire Diaries." Sara plays Jenna Sommers, the aunt and legal guardian of Jeremy and Elena, who all exist in a world where vampires and humans are entangled in one another’s lives (and sometimes just each other). But if you think her relationship with the undead is a new found hobby, think again. She laughingly recalled to the mag of her childhood, “I would creep into the living room and hide behind the couch to watch ['The X-Files']. I would scare myself. I had a really overactive imagination.”

Earlier today, we reported that when it came to her physical appearance in her summer flick, "Beastly," Vanessa Hudgens wanted to look anything but beauty-like. "I made a point to not look put-together," she told MTV News. "I was trying to make [my hair] look messier and messier."
We appreciate her dedication to the role and all, but now that we've gotten time to look closely at the EXCLUSIVE still (yay Summer Movie Preview Week!) above, we've got to say, she's looking quite the opposite of what she claimed, and instead well-coiffed and adorable. As for the token "beast," Alex Pettyfer, it seems that in this scene, his colorful veins and "imperfections" are starting to grow on Vanessa's Lindy — she's totally smitten.
What do you think is going in in this moment? Are you getting more excited to see "Beastly"?

Sandra Bullock blind sided (forgive us for the pun!) and delighted fans today with the news that not only was she leaving her cheating husband Jesse James, but that she's also a new mom! Sandra told People magazine (pictured) that she adopted her son Louis three months ago, but opted to keep it quiet from the public until after the Oscars. Needless to say, plans got derailed, but Sandra now looks as happy as ever with her adorable new addition ("Gossip Girl" star Zuzanna Szadkowski marveled, "Sandra Bullock's baby is so cute!"), and her friends and fans on Twitter were happy for her. Actress Rita Wilson shared her joy for the star, tweeting, "So happy for Sandra Bullock and her new baby, Louis. Way to go, Sandra."
Sandra's big news wasn't the only thing gracing the new issue of People magazine, as it's also their annual Most Beautiful People list. A few of Twitter's hottest stars made the cut, including an ecstatic Kelly Osbourne, who tweeted, "thank you thank you @peoplemag for putting me on your most beautiful people list i have been screaming with joy since i saw the picture!" On Tuesday, before the premiere of "The Hills," two of the show's SoCal girls were in NYC to get some styling done. Kristin Cavallari and one-time enemy, Audrina Patridge, chilled out and got their hair done at the tour kickoff for the John Frieda Style on Site tour.

This one comes as no surprise: Summit has chosen director Bill Condon to helm "Breaking Dawn." With that big decision out of the way, it seems like answers to the other big "Breaking Dawn" questions — one or two parts, 2-D or 3-D, filming and release dates — will be soon to follow.
Summit sent out a press release today with the announcement, and included several statements from Summit president Erik Feig, author Stephenie Meyer (who is listed as a producer — a first for her in the movie franchise!) and Bill himself. Check them out after the jump!
