We're just about one hour away from the season finale of "One Tree Hill," and the fate of the show still remains unclear — will it return for an eighth season? Or will tonight's episode, appropriately titled "Almost Everything I Wish I'd Said the Last Time I Saw You," be the last time we see Nathan, Hayley, Brooke and Co.?
Well, don't go crying into your Tric cocktail just yet. When "OTH" newbie (he's only been around for one season), Robert Buckley stopped by our offices earlier today, he came bearing some good news. "By no means is [tonight] a series finale, it's a season finale," he told Hollywood Crush. "I've seen a cut of it and it's definitely a season finale."
The good news, it seems, doesn't exactly carry over to the actual episode, though. "There are some happy endings," he teased. "However, there are not enough to go around for all the main characters. So there is some serious drama — a few people have some good things happen to them, there's some serious questions being asked and... let's just say some people are really going to have a rough go."
We have to imagine he's talking about his own character, Clay, who has been facing a single white female in the form of actress Amanda Schull,who plays the maniacal girl who thinks she's Clay's dead wife. "Clay always finds his way into trouble," Robert said. Yeah no kidding! "He's still dealing with drama with this whole stalker situation."
In fact, we haven't seen the last of crazy Katie even though she departed in a police car last week. "Katie shows up and it's like Hurricane Katie comes to Tree Hill. She really is a hot mess — ruins Clay's life."
Part of tonight's finale, however, will take place in Park City, where the gang travels for the premiere of Julian's movie at a Sundance-like film festival. But does that mean episode ends in Wilmington, er Tree Hill? "Potentially, maybe not for everybody...WHAT!" Dun dun dun!
