Let's start off by saying that this particular post has a major spoiler about Amanda Seyfried's uber-romantic flick, "Letters To Juliet."
If you don't know who she ends up with at the end of the movie — Victor (Gael Garcia Bernal) or Charlie (Chris Egan) — then don't read any further. Or, if you enjoyed being spoiled, read on!
"No, not poor Victor! He didn't really lose the girl. He never really had the girl," Amanda told MTV News at the junket for the flick earlier this month. "In his mind, yeah, he had her as a friend, maybe. I mean she probably loved him a great deal at one point because they had something together. But he was so enthralled in his world of food that he didn't see beyond anymore. He got cloudy and he deserved to be left in New York to stew in his pot."
A fitting metaphor about her chef ex-fiance. So why Charlie then? "He turned out to be the guy in the end, but it takes a little bit of that back-and-forth between Charlie and Sophie for them to see there's something between them," she said. "He taught her she's missing a lot in her relationship."
What did you think of Sophie's choice? Did you agree with it?
