If there was anything that could have possibly made the self-admittedly terrible "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" enjoyable, it was hands down all the smack leading lady Megan Fox was talking off screen about director Michael Bay. She did a handful of pretty ridiculous — but hilarious — interviews, and reached a peak of fame so high that several men's websites had to call for A Day Without Megan Fox (we're still waiting for a similar breath of fresh air from "Twilight," but know it isn't coming any time soon).
Unfortunately, since "Jennifer's Body" was a flop and "Jonah Hex" is still a few months away from a release date, all has been relatively quiet on the Megan Fox front. But don't worry, fellow Fox fans, because she is back as the cover girl for the June issue of Allure, and managed to drop 24 f-bombs during the course of the interview, though only six made it in to the piece. She even addresses the real reasons why we haven't been getting quotes as good as these recently.
"I was really open when I first started [doing interviews]," Megan admitted to Allure. "Trying to be lighthearted and have a sense of humor and engage in some sort of satire sometimes. It did backfire to a certain extent, and it became too exhausting. I still have the same sense of humor, but I have no desire to express it, really, anymore, because I've always been f--ked for doing so."
It's not new news that Megan was a bit of a loner growing up and has gone through some bizarre phases, but it seems like the 24-year-old has developed a really strong maternal side with Kassius, the 8-year-old son of her boyfriend of five years, Brian Austin Green. That is another big reason why Megan has been trying to avoid brushes with the press.
When she was taking Kassius to see "Avatar" for the first time, Megan tells Allure that the paparazzi swarmed on them as they entered the movie theater. "[He] started screaming at them to 'leave Megan alone,' and that broke my heart. I was so proud of him that he was brave enough to talk to adults that way, that he saw that they were bothering me, but it was also so sad. Are you going to go home and feel good about yourselves that you upset a 7-year-old tonight who was seeing 'Avatar' for the first time? Congratu-f--king-lations," she said bitterly.
But don't worry, because Megan promises she won't be behaving properly — or in her words, "vanilla" — forever. "Let's say I'm lucky enough to still be doing this in 20 years," Megan told the magazine. "I'm going to spend 20 years never saying anything interesting? Never telling a joke? Never pushing anyone's buttons? I feel like I'm too inquisitive, and I'm just — I'm a living, breathing human. I'm a person, I'm not a robot."
Suddenly we find ourselves counting down the days until "Jonah Hex's" release on June 18. Because what's a good summer blockbuster season without Megan Fox, really?
