If you're a fan of "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" you can finally breathe big a sigh of relief. While just a few weeks ago their fate was uncertain, the CW announced today that both (yes, both!) would be renewed for another season.
According to Deadline, "OTH" had strong enough ratings to push it through to season eight (no wonder Robert Buckley was so confident that last night's "OTH" wouldn't be the last!), while "Life Unexpected" was an in-house favorite. It's an in-house favorite here at Hollywood Crush, too!
What's more is that the CW is actually adding two new shows to its lineup, including "Hellcats," a show about a cheerleading squad, starring Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka! "Nikita," about "an "assassin for a top secret U.S. government agency," was also picked up. The action show (very un-CW, right?) stars Maggie Q.
So there you have it, not only are two of your CW shows sticking around but now you've got some new ones to look forward to as well!
Are you excited that "One Tree Hill" and "Life Unexpected" are coming back? Will you tune into "Hellcats"?
