Cameron Diaz: We're Obsessing Over The 'Shrek' Star In This Week's Girl Crush

This weekend movie theaters everywhere will bring a new meaning to the term “going green” with the release of the forth and final installment of DreamWorks’ “Shrek” series, “Shrek Forever After,” leaving us with this week’s Girl Crush, princess Fiona herself, Cameron Diaz.

Whether she is the voice of an ogre or one of "Charlie’s Angels", there’s something about Cameron that leaves us wanting more, she is just the sweetest thing! Beautiful on the inside and out, this A-lister first appeared on the silver screen back in 1994 next to Hollywood’s funny guy Jim Carrey in “The Mask,” catching the eye of yet another green man.

Since then Cameron has made a career of capturing our hearts with laughter and let’s not forget about her moves on the dance floor — rather any floor at that. I mean there aren’t many who can pull off dancing in little boy’s underwear and Sir Mix-A-Lot’s "Baby Got Back." In recent years, our Girl Crush has tackled more serious roles in “My Sister’s Keeper,” in which she picked up a Teen Choice Award in 2009 and in the same year starred next to James Marsden in the mysterious drama “The Box.”

Keeping with the theme of green, one of Cameron’s upcoming roles (besides starring alongside Tom Cruise in "Knight and Day") has her portraying Lenore Case in the comic thriller “The Green Hornet” set to release next year. Set to release this Friday, “Shrek Forever After” will be the last of an almost 10 year run of one of our favorite fairy tales.
