For Samantha Jones, men come and men go and she much prefers it that way. Even with some serious boyfriends during the franchise's run from a TV series to the big screen, she's managed to wrangle up a few serious beaus, namely Richard (James Remar) and Smith (Jason Lewis). But, in the end, you can't hold Samantha down for long. And, Kim Cattrall says that as she and Samantha get older, she gets more and more comfortable with herself.
"Oh absolutely! I think that's what comes with getting older," she dished to MTV News about Samantha at the "Sex And The City 2" junket. "You loose some things, but gain other things."
Still, we have to wonder if somewhere in Samantha's wild hearth she wishes she had a husband and babies like her girlfriends? "Oh god no! No! No! No! Samantha doesn't want to be married to any of those men and have any of those children," she revealed. "Oh my god! No! she's very happy being single!"
She notes that she found fault in Samantha's very serious relationship with Smith. "When the series ended and she was in a relationship, I thought that was such utter crap. I thought, 'No, that's not gonna last. That's definitely not gonna last.' And then I felt much better through the end of the first film. I thought that's where she should be and I think she's very happy."
And, as it turns out, in the new flick, the very single Samantha finds herself in two flings with two very, very hot guys. We're very sure she likes it that way!
What do you think of Kim's take on Samantha's relationship status or lack thereof? Do you agree that Sam belongs unattached?
