"Mean Girls" is getting a sequel… of sorts. The 2004 comedy was a massive hit which created the careers of Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams, as well as being a nice look back to a time where Lindsay Lohan was a bit more normal. The film, co-written by comedic genius Tina Fey, was based on the advice book by Rosalind Wiseman, "Queen Bees and Wannabees: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends, and the New Realities of Girl World."

Well, turns out Ms. Wiseman wrote another advice book for parents called "Queen Bee Moms and King Pin Dads: Dealing with the Parents, Teachers, Coaches, and Counselors Who Can Make — or Break — Your Child's Future." So now, viola, Variety introduces us to "Mean Moms," which will be written by Dara and Chad Creasey (let's have a moment of silence for the loss of Tina) that will be about a "happily married mother of two who moves from small town America to the high class suburbs and is faces with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting."

When we last checked in with "Glee" star Chris Colfer in April, he was just as excited as we were to find out that his lovable character Kurt Hummel would be getting a boyfriend. Since then, we have done some more investigating into this romantic tale.

The bad news? We won't see Kurt's beau until season 2. The good news? The actor hasn't even been cast yet, which means the options are endless! When Chris stopped by the MTV News offices yesterday, we made sure to get his intel on his boyfriend-to-be. "I'll have nothing to do with that casting process," he clarified with a laugh. "That's way too much for me, I couldn't!"

While Colin Hanks is the son of one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, Tom Hanks, he has certainly proved that he's a Hanks of his own creation. The actor is now suiting up as TV's newest crime fighter, playing a cop alongside Bradley Whitford, on the new Fox show "The Good Guys," and it's tonight's special preview of the show that earns him a nod at this week's Hump Day Hottie.

Press play on the video below to see more of Colin, and then keep reading for more details about him!

Vital Stats: The 32-year-old grew up in Sacramento, Calif. and the actor certainly learned how to act from the best, but Colin also attended school at both Loyola Marymount University and Chapman University. He's since gone on to carve out his path in Hollywood. And, sorry ladies, he's not single as he recently tied the knot with publicist, Samantha Bryant.

Sure, there has been a lot of exciting stuff that has happened since Bill Condon was signed on as the director of "Breaking Dawn," but that doesn't mean he has faded far from our thoughts.

Website Earth's Mightiest managed to snag an interview with "Twilight Saga" producer Wyck Godfrey and got him to talk about the choice of Bill — who is best known for his work on "Chicago" and "Dreamgirls" — to direct an angsty teenage vampire story, and his reasoning was enough to convince us.

In her day job at Random House, Alyssa Sheinmel spends a lot of time thinking about what's hot in children's and young-adult fiction. Maybe that's why for her debut novel, she avoided writing a trendy vampire story or a clique-y series. Instead, "The Beautiful Between," which came out on May 10, is a melancholy tale about a girl who may inhabit the same Upper East Side New York as the "Gossip Girl" set, but whose inner life is a whole lot deeper than Serena's or Blair's.

"My husband's big joke is that if only I could write a book with vampires in it, we would be rich," Sheinmel told us. "I don't follow trends as a reader or a writer. I tend to write just what I want to tell."

In the last season of "True Blood," shape-shifting bartender Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) went through quite an ordeal. He had to face his own past in the form of the twisted Maryann Forrester (Michelle Forbes), an evil maenad with a score to settle against Sam. But with the help of Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), Sam was able to thwart Maryann in the end, taking her bull's head mask along with him as a first place trophy of sorts.

But victory isn't enough for Sam. He wants to drag Maryann through the mud just a bit further. And in the latest "A Drop of True Blood" minisode, that's exactly what he does.

Check out the details on Sam's hilariously destructive behavior after the jump!

One Tree HillI think I’ve mentioned this before, but I love a good finale, the season-long story lines that finally get wrapped up, all neat and tidy; the slow, dramatic build-up to some inevitable cliffhanger that makes you think you will never be able to survive the next four months not knowing what happens next. It’s television torture and I’m a masochist for it. So knowing the ingredients for a good finale, let’s go over last night’s “90210” shall we?

There definitely were some tidy storyline wrap-ups: Navid’s charm bracelet make it’s way to Adrianna in New York and they admit they still love each other on a live (!) broadcast of the Blaze. Silver and Teddy reunite after Teddy promises he can handle both tennis and love. (Federer would be proud.) Liam finally ends it with Naomi after barely speaking or seeing each other for weeks; he also confesses to his mom that he was culprit in the case of the stolen coins and he gets his boat on the water. (Spoiler: It floats!) Dixon tells Ivy about his drunken kiss with Silver, but she later forgives him and the trip to Australia is still on.

EllenIn a double-hitter of "Twilight" guests, Robert Pattinson followed the footsteps of costar Nikki Reed and visited "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for today's episode. Once again, the visit was to promote "Eclipse," and fortunately his interview stayed more on topic than Nikki's. Unfortunately, Rob was not as enthusiastic about the dancing, despite the fact he did ballet until age 10. We were disappointed that Ellen had not scrounged up a clip to accompany this confession.

But more important than Rob talking about "Eclipse" and not dancing was the new 'do he was sporting. I guess Summit finally reneged on forcing Rob to maintain his Edward Cullen locks and allowed him to get a haircut for "Water for Elephants," which starts shooting in Los Angeles tomorrow.

This weekend movie theaters everywhere will bring a new meaning to the term “going green” with the release of the forth and final installment of DreamWorks’ “Shrek” series, “Shrek Forever After,” leaving us with this week’s Girl Crush, princess Fiona herself, Cameron Diaz.

Whether she is the voice of an ogre or one of "Charlie’s Angels", there’s something about Cameron that leaves us wanting more, she is just the sweetest thing! Beautiful on the inside and out, this A-lister first appeared on the silver screen back in 1994 next to Hollywood’s funny guy Jim Carrey in “The Mask,” catching the eye of yet another green man.

gleeJoss Whedon, can you direct "Glee" every week? Hey, a Gleek can dream, can't she?! That was, after all, the theme of last night's episode. When Mr. Schuester's old high school rival Bryan Ryan (guest star Neil Patrick Harris) showed up as the newest member of the school board, he becomes one of an increasingly long list of people insistent on taking the glee club down. Turns out, Will and Bryan made each other's lives hell (in one scene, which I wish had gone on for far longer, we see a Cosby sweater-clad Bryan doing magic, singing The Monkees and busting on Will) in high school and as it turns out, neither men "made it" to the big time.

Now Bryan, bitter from not becoming the star he set out to be, is out to spread the word that "Show Choir Kills." He meets with the wide-eyed hopefuls that are New Directions and asks them to take out a piece of paper and write their dreams on it. He promptly, and not-so-metaphorically, tosses them in the trash.
