'Eclipse' Premiere: Our 'Twilight' Expert Recalls Her 'Fantastic' Red Carpet Experience

I attended the "Eclipse" premiere as MTV News' "Twilight" expert and had an absolutely awesome time. Being up on a platform was a very different experience than I’d had when I was press at the last two premieres, and seeing all of the cast up close again was very exciting! Some of the people who came up to the MTV platform were people I had never seen in person, including Dakota Fanning and Anna Kendrick. It was great to see them up close!

All the fans had camped out for nearly a week, and it was great to go and visit them and say hello. Many of them have had great experiences and been influenced by "Twilight" in some way. I’m a fan just like them, but I just decided to make a site about it. I absolutely loved finding HisGoldenEyes.com fans who knew who I was in the crowd and talking to them, because knowing that what I do really makes them happy is exactly why I do it. It’s just amazing how many people the site impacts, it really blows my mind.

The highlight of the night was definitely when Stephenie Meyer came up to me and said hello. Of all the people that could’ve said hi! Stephenie, after all, is the one who created this phenomenon! I had expected to be really nervous to talk on camera because this was my first time, but I wasn’t. It was really great to be able to just talk about "Twilight" — something I know so well — that I didn’t have to prepare too much. The carpet talent came so fast, it went speeding by.

It was cool being able to see all the fashions up close, I loved Kristen’s one sleeve Elie Saab dress and Robert’s maroon Gucci suit was really out there and perfect! I loved how the "Twilight" trio were dressed in red, white, and black, to match the movie colors, but now I've got to wonder: was that intentional?

Overall, the night was fantastic and memorable. I loved working with MTV News this time around! "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is fantastic and I’m sure all the "Twilight" fans will not be dissapointed when it comes out in theaters on June 30th.
