They say what goes around, comes around, and it seems that it sort of the case for Miley Cyrus. The young Disney singer hasn't held back her dislike for the "Twilight" films, so it seems only fair that Ashley Greene has joined Miley in the cast of "LOL" as a high school bad girl who gives Miley's character a run for her money.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ashley will join Miley as well as Demi Moore, Douglas Booth and "The Punisher's" Thomas Jane in the film, which will be directed by Liza Azuelos.
We must admit, we're enjoying Ashley's post-"Twilight" (or should we say, mid-"Twilight Saga") film decisions. She's going to be in "Apparition" opposite Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton, just recently wrapped the hilarious-sounding "Butter" with Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman, and let's not forget that she also has the action/sport film "Warrior" on her slate which puts her opposite her fellow Cullen, Kellan Lutz.
Honestly — and we aren't trying to start a fight with this statement — but we think Ashley could easily surpass Kristen Stewart with bankability after "Breaking Dawn" hits theaters. Then again, Kristen isn't really looking to tap into the mainstream film market, and Ashley clearly is. Still, we've got to say she was pretty darn lucky for nabbing a role in "Twilight" as her first major film role, because she's managed to create quite a career for herself in a three year period of time.
What do you think of Ashley's career trajectory? Do you think it's funny that she'll be starring opposite Miley Cyrus?
