It's official — almost a year after getting engaged, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt said "I do" this weekend in Como, Italy, according to People. "The Office" star and "The Young Victoria" actress started dating in 2008, quickly becoming one of Crush's favorite couples, and married in a private outdoor ceremony on Saturday.
The happy couple had been staying at the Lake Como estate of George Clooney, John's "Leatherheads" costar (so that's how they know each other!), the week prior to Saturday's wedding, and George and his girlfriend were guests at the ceremony, US Weekly reported.
Now for the important stuff: the dress. British beauty Emily wore a cream-colored Marchesa gown with chiffon and embroidered detail, and her ring was a platinum and diamond three-carat Neil Lane. No pictures have surfaced yet, but don't worry — we're on it.
If you get misty-eyed at weddings, you're not alone. Plenty of folks do. But so far, there's no word yet on whether anyone cried at the Krasinski-Blunt ceremony. The proposal's another story, though — John told Access Hollywood that he's the one who shed tears first. "She did cry after I cried, and we cried and then everyone around us was crying," he said.
Still, the two didn't take the whole wedding-planning thing too seriously: both separately joked with us over the past couple months about such things as bridezillas and about being the "sexiest groom alive"!
Send your best wishes to the newlyweds in the comments below!
