Amanda Seyfried has been all over the supernatural spectrum recently, first opposite Megan Fox in "Jennifer's Body," then in the upcoming "Girl With The Red Riding Hood," and now, according to Variety, as the lead in the sci-fi thriller "I'm.mortal." The film is written and will be directed by Andrew Niccol of "Gattaca" and "The Truman Show" fame.
The story follows a society where people stop aging at 25. After then, people have to buy and bank "time" to continue to live forever. This is no problem for the rich, but the poor end up dying because they are engineered to die when their time runs out.
A rebel gets falsely charged for murdering a wealthy man for his time, so he takes a rich girl — played by Amanda — as his hostage. The role hasn't been cast yet, so we have a few suggestions of men we think can fill the shoes.

XAVIER SAMUEL
This is mostly because we loved him so much in "Eclipse," but Xavier is young enough and new enough to Hollywood that he could easily carry the main role in "I'm.mortal." There were also enough teases of action scenes in "Eclipse" that we want to see him star in a film that allows him to showcase that.
HENRY CAVILL
At age 27, Henry Cavill is a little old to be playing the lead in a society of 25-year-olds, but based on his work in "The Tudors" (and "Stardust," who are we kidding?) we know he'd be able to pull it off. Plus, he starred in a version of "Red Riding Hood" back in 2004, so he and Amanda would have plenty to talk about.
CHANNING TATUM
We're still pretty iffy about "Dear John," but the chemistry between Amanda and Channing Tatum was definitely one of the high points. That, and we've already decided he's the new big action star (and can play younger than he looks — he turned 30 this year — once he shaves), so we'd love to see them reunite for "I'm.mortal."
Do you see any of our casting choices being perfect for "I'm.mortal"? Who else would you like to see star opposite Amanda?
