Over the years, our "Hills" girls have certainly had their share of ups and downs, but when it came to fashion, they each managed to impress us at one point or another. So, with just a few more hours to go before we say goodbye to "The Hills" for good (sigh!), we thought we'd reflect on some of the ladies' finest red carpet moments. Check out the pictures below and let us know which looks you loved!
No one rocked the maxi dress like Lauren Conrad, so we had to give it its moment in the spotlight! Lauren wore this flowy tie-die print maxi to the 2008 Kids Choice Awards. We thought it evoked the ultimate California girl — totally fun and perpetually laid back. Lauren added her own twist to the look by pairing it with a thin belt and adding her token cute side braids. Is it any wonder the girl went on to have her own fashion line?
Speaking of fashionistas discovered on "The Hills," Whitney Port has had no shortage of impressive red carpet looks, but when it came to choosing our favorite it was easy to pick this form-fitting, strapless, yellow Yigal Azrouel dress that she wore to the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. It landed her a spot on our Movie Awards best dressed list, and truth be told, we're still swooning over it.
Audrina Patridge was probably the most rock n' roll of the cast, but that doesn't mean she didn't know how to "girl" it up every now and then. Case in point: Audrina's strapless silvery/white dress from the Surfrider Foundation's 25th Anniversary Gala. We thought she looked super glam, and the wavy hair was very old Hollywood!
When it came to choosing a fashion standout for Heidi Montag, we couldn't resist looking back...way back to the 2008 "A Time For Heroes" Celebrity Carnival. She arrived at the event in white shorts, a tank top and a colorful scarf. The look was totally understated, but that's exactly what we liked about it.
Resident "bad girl" (although let's admit it, she really was a softy at heart!), Kristin Cavallari caught our attention when she hit the "When In Rome" red carpet wearing a shocking pink, backless Naven dress. This was definitely one of our all-time favorites on her, and we thought the sleek ponytail was the perfect complement to complete the look.
As for Lo Bosworth, we adored her casual look, comprised of a simple cream dress, paired with a skinny belt (perhaps a fashion tip she picked up from bff Lauren?!) and a classic fitted leather jacket — from the opening Of The Undrest Pop Shop. The quintessential every-girl look, that we would rock any day.
