You might be able to log on to the web from anywhere in Rosewood's town limits (parks, forests, abandoned sheds- nothing is a out of network here) in "Pretty Little Liars," but unfortunately it's been confirmed that the Wifi-friendly city and its texting, tweeting, blogging, vlogging high school population were not enough to keep Verizon's KIN alive.
The first, and now only, of her friends to get the coveted social network-centric phone, Aria (Lucy Hale) regularly whipped out and name-dropped her Verizon KIN One, flaunting features like Facebook and Loopt. KIN even played a role in her illicit relationship with Ezra, vibrating so much the teacher had to read her texts from A.
So what's a girl with a discontinued sponsorship to do? We've come up a list of gadgets to keep Aria in the loop with A, while also helping her to save face after the disastrous demise of her much-hyped device:
iPad
Sure, it's not a phone, but when do you ever see the girls actually talking; it's all about the texts. And just imagine the options A would have to harass the girls on such a large, vibrant screen?
Blackberry
The social networking applications might leave something to be desired, but the Blackberry has something the others don't: BBM. We predict a crackberry-obsessed Aria, BBM-ing with Fitzy long into the night.
Droid
One word: Google. Now there's a sponsorship deal to be proud of!
What other devices do you think the powers that be at "Pretty Little Liars" should turn to now that the Kin has been discontinued?
