Now that Jane Lynch's new, sort of raunchy romantic comedy "I Do & I Don't" is out on DVD, the "Glee" star is confessing that she's excited for fans to see her unleash her inner sex goddess.
"It was really liberating. I kind of played it big," she says about her character, Nora. The film revolves around a young, soon-to-be married couple who must seek mentorship from the already married couple. Nora is the better half in the dysfunctional married couple. "There were not subtle choices. We all had such a great time together doing this. It was really fun. I loved taking somebody who's kind of a floozy and made her drunker than she was in the script," she joked about the character. "I kind of decided she was drunk all the time and she lived in her own fantasy world."
So, what was it like having to make Nora try and seduce actor Bryan Callen? "Juicy stuff is what that is!" she laughed. "And it makes it unboring!"
Speaking of juicy and unboring, that brings us to Jane's other daytime job: "Glee." Although she didn't have many new details to share, the funny girl did admit she is ready to start filming the second season of the Fox show next week. "I don’t know! I have no idea!" she told Hollywood Crush of what's next for Sue Sylvestor. "I haven’t even seen a script and we start next week and I don’t have any idea!"
Will you be renting/buying "I Do & I Don't" on DVD? Or do you prefer to see Jane Lynch only in one light: as a bitter coach at McKinley High?
