Rihanna Joins Alexander Skarsgard And Taylor Kitsch In 'Battleship'

What’s this we hear? Rihanna is helping to bring a board game to life? Yes, you heard it right. According to Variety, the pop star is set to star in “Battleship,” which is currently in production from director Peter Berg.

The feature film, which is based on the classic board game, marks Rihanna’s very first acting gig. The 22-year-old has had much success with her hit songs and winning two Grammy Awards with “Run This Town” this year alone.

But now, it’s onto acting for the Barbados bombshell. And with this movie in the works, has the music ship “sailed” for her? We couldn’t imagine, but who knows in this entertainment world!

Two other major hotties, Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgård, will also be featured in the film. They play brothers and naval officers who are assigned to a multinational task force charged with battling alien invaders. Sounds a little more complicated than trying to figure out who sunk my battleship!
