The "Charlie St. Cloud" marketing campaign keeps teasing us in their trailers and TV spots about how the titular Charlie's lady love, Tess (Amanda Crew), goes missing out in Quincy harbor, which seems to be leading up the climactic ending of the film.
This latest featurette (press play above!) shows some of the behind the scenes elements of Tess's rescue by Charlie, and is explained by its lead hunk, Zac Efron. The video shows how Tess' rescue was filmed and, to be fair, is really cool, but that's something I'd personally want to watch as a DVD extra instead of to promote the film in the days up until its release.
Still, we'll take any excuse to watch Zac Efron, especially when he's shirtless and explaining how he prides himself on being able to hold his breath the longest. Does this mean Vanessa Hudgens is privy to some especially long make out sessions?
We can't wait to see how the final cut of this scene plays out on Friday when "Charlie St. Cloud" hits theaters and hope that Tess' rescue ends well. All the stuff about underwater shooting (and the scenes from the film that we are teased with) looks really great, and as Zac jokes, his acting looks pretty great, too.
