Martha Stewart is a domestic goddess. She understands everything there is to know about throwing a fabulous bash better than anyone we could ever think of. She just gets it. She's classy and sophisticated.
So, with Chelsea Clinton's big wedding coming up this weekend, MTV News wanted to know what sort of advice the talk show host and entrepreneur might have for the former first daughter, who is set to marry investment banker Mark Mezvinsky this Saturday in Rhinebeck, New York (this is all reportedly, of course).
"Just read Martha Stewart Weddings, the preeminent magazine for weddings," she revealed as her big secret to getting it right for her, or any brides', big day. "You know it! It’s the bible! That is the place you go for any advice and it's fantastic."
(While that advice seems somewhat self-serving, we have to agree that Martha probably knows how to make one very lovely wedding!)
Of course, everyone wants to know who will make the guest list, which we now know will not include President Obama. Though he was in NYC this week — last night, specifically, mucking things up for Chace Crawford and the cast of "Twelve" at their premiere — he admitted he didn’t make the finale cut. "I am not going," he said during his appearance on "The View" today. "It's tough enough having one president at a wedding — you don't want two presidents!"
