It's no secret that your Crush editors have a huuuuge girl crush on Selena Gomez, so we were sure to tune in last night in order to catch the "Ramona and Beezus" star making an appearance on "The Late Show with David Letterman." Selena looked fresh-faced and fantastic when she stepped onto the set wearing black peep toe heels, a strapless black-on-white pinstripe dress, and ultra-glam red lipstick... and, uh, we weren't the only ones to notice.
"I know you're a kid... but you don't look 17," Dave guffawed as Selena took her seat. He held up a photo taken earlier in the day that showed the star, casually dressed during a visit to the NYC branch of Hooters. "Here's what I'm talking about. There you are, right there — and when I see this, and then you come out like that..."
Of course, Selena was too polite to do anything but smile and play it cool. But we're not.

You might be able to log on to the web from anywhere in Rosewood's town limits (parks, forests, abandoned sheds- nothing is a out of network here) in "Pretty Little Liars," but unfortunately it's been confirmed that the Wifi-friendly city and its texting, tweeting, blogging, vlogging high school population were not enough to keep Verizon's KIN alive.
The first, and now only, of her friends to get the coveted social network-centric phone, Aria (Lucy Hale) regularly whipped out and name-dropped her Verizon KIN One, flaunting features like Facebook and Loopt. KIN even played a role in her illicit relationship with Ezra, vibrating so much the teacher had to read her texts from A.

For three years this girl’s portrayal of Alex Russo on the hit Disney Show “Wizards of Waverly Place” has kept us laughing and smiling as she tries to balance the life of a wizard and just a regular teen in New York City. But as the series comes to an end (only one more season!), this young actress is far from disappearing from the limelight. This Friday she makes her debut in theatres across the nation in “Ramona and Beezus," which is why this week’s Girl Crush is the lovely Selena Gomez.
The 17-year-old Texan (she turns 18 in two days!) began her acting career at age seven, starting with “Barney & Friends,” and later was discovered by Disney and started playing minor roles in “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody” and “Hannah Montana.” But Selena was able to break out on her own when she was cast in 2007 as one of the main characters in the popular “Wizards.” Her portrayal of Alex Russo won her two Kids Choice Awards for “Favorite TV Actress” and an Alma Award for “Actress in Television –Comedy.”

At this point, Demi Lovato and Kim Kardashian are kind of like old pals. After meeting earlier this year at the White House Correspondents dinner, it seems these two TV darlings have become fast friends.
So, when Demi recently revealed that she looks up to Kim as a fashion icon, MTV News wanted to hear from the "Sonny With A Chance" star herself to uncover the real reason she adored the reality starlet.

When "Warrior" was announced back in 2008 and it was released that the film would reteam Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz from "Twilight," we have to admit that we were thrilled. It didn't matter that the movie was about a lacrosse player and had no supernatural elements, or that Ashley and Kellan are starring as romantic interests instead of siblings, because the film would give both of them the time to shine in leading roles that they didn't have in "Twilight."
MTV News caught up with Kellan at VH1's Do Something Awards, where he had received recognition for his work with animals, and we were glad to hear that he is just as psyched about working with Ashley as we are.

Did you know that Lucy Hale has known Ryan Seacrest for seven years? The "Pretty Little Liars" star wasn't always known for acting. She actually got her start on the short-lived show "American Juniors," an "American Idol" spin-off that Ryan hosted in 2003. When Lucy stopped by Ryan's radio show this morning, their longstanding friendship was the first topic of conversation.
"I just turned 21. I met you when I was 14. You look the exact same. And so do I," she joked to Ryan (though, uh, it's kinda true). "I'm going to be playing a teen for a very long time."

James Franco, college professor? It's happening — and it's not for a role. The astonishingly well-educated actor, who already has a creative writing degree from UCLA and graduate studies at Columbia University and NYU on his résumé, is starting his Ph.D. at Yale in the fall. However, according to a new interview with "Good Morning America," a part of his English doctorate will include teaching a class to some very lucky coeds.
But what will he teach? In addition to all of his academic achievements, the man's got more than a decade of acting experience under his belt, from "Freaks and Geeks" to the "Spider-Man" movies to "General Hospital." What better way to mold young minds than drawing lessons from his professional acting career?

It’s been almost a decade since we’ve last seen a "Scream" film, but "Scream 4" is officially on its way to making more horror movie magic happen. MTV News caught up with Hayden Panettiere to chat about the beginning of production on the movie. She stars as Kirby Reed whom she described as “edgy, sassy and smart.”
Hayden said that even though a big chunk of time that has passed since the last "Scream" debuted (the first two films premiered in 1996 and 1997 and Scream 3 debuted in 2000), she isn't worried. "I think it's just perfect timing," she insisted adding that the premise to the film is also dead on (get it?). "It's a perfect setup, with all of these films ... the [fictional] 'Stab' [movies] and all the things like that. I think with all of the 'Scream' [films], the idea is to throw the audience for a loop every time.” We sure are interested to see what kind of “loop” the 20-year-old has in store for us!
