With "Beastly" bumped back to March 18, 2011, the release date jumble leaves its stars in an interesting predicament. Now "Beastly" will be coming out a week before Vanessa Hudgens' other starring vehicle, "Sucker Punch," and Alex Pettyfer will have been first known for "I Am Number Four," which he signed on to after "Beastly" but which is expected to be released February 2011.

"I'd be lying to you if I didn't tell you I was more excited that we were coming out first," director D.J. Caruso admitted to MTV in an exclusive interview. "The thing I like about Alex is that, first of all, he's this really dynamic, interesting, good-looking kid. But the most important element for me is that there's this real vulnerability. It's rare; you can see that, though there's a confidence there, there's a little bit of a pain that we can [relate to].

Yesterday, we gave you a delicious sneak peek into what's going to happen when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) finds out it wasn't Elena (Nina Dobrev) who he kissed in the season finale of "Vampire Diaries" (let's just say it won't be pretty!).

Of course, that was only the start (a pretty juicy one at that!) of our "VD" scoops straight out of Comic-Con 2010. After all, the finale left us with a lot of unanswered questions and high amongst them was whether or not Elena and Katherine would ever come face-to-face.

Twitter has welcomed some major celebs this week, first with Angelina Jolie yesterday, and now Kanye West (@kanyewest). Kanye, who created his maiden tweet this morning, told followers, "Up early in the morning taking meetings in Silicone Valley." But, the rapper quickly realized how easy it is to make mistakes on Twitter (even on your first day), posting, "Lol I spelled Silicon wrong...... ITS A PROCESS!!"

While we'd be surprised to see if Kanye starts following Taylor Swift anytime soon (or vice versa, for that matter), the "Love Story" singer already has a new friendship blossoming on the social networking site. Taylor wrote, "Having a random discussion in the bus about how Devon Sawa is underrated and needs to be in more movies, so I can watch them and smile." That tweet came much to the delight of the "Final Destination" actor who tweeted back, "I big red heart @taylorswift13 !!!"

Joshua Jackson reminded us this week why we love him so much: he played "the greatest character in TV history," Pacey Witter, and held his very own Pacey-Con at last week's real-life Comic-Con. While there, he hobnobbed with his old "DC" boss, Kevin Williamson. So, was it mentioned that perhaps the "Fringe" star might make a cameo on "Vampire Diaries" one day?

"You know we actually did talk about it because the other person who writes the show with him is a woman named Julie Plec, who is also an old 'Dawson's Creek'-er and she had mentioned it somewhere in the press and I think was kind of kidding, but I think that would be hilarious," he very enthusiastically told MTV News about the prospect of showing his fangs.

The "Charlie St. Cloud" marketing campaign keeps teasing us in their trailers and TV spots about how the titular Charlie's lady love, Tess (Amanda Crew), goes missing out in Quincy harbor, which seems to be leading up the climactic ending of the film.

This latest featurette (press play above!) shows some of the behind the scenes elements of Tess's rescue by Charlie, and is explained by its lead hunk, Zac Efron. The video shows how Tess' rescue was filmed and, to be fair, is really cool, but that's something I'd personally want to watch as a DVD extra instead of to promote the film in the days up until its release.

Watch out, Will Schuester, there's a new (male) glee club teacher in town!

While we'll certainly miss Idina Menzel's Shelby Corcoran around as much (rumor has it, though, she will be back next season), it's always exciting to find out when there's someone new on board with "Glee." Especially when that someone is as talented and cute as Cheyenne Jackson.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the actor, who you most likely recognize as Danny from "30 Rock" (on which he plays...a good looking newbie!), will take over coaching duties for New Directions' rival glee club, Vocal Adrenaline.
