Does anyone really need an excuse to explain why we love staring at Jason Schwartzman, Michael Cera and Chris Evans sans pants? If you were hesitant at all in answering that one (an easy question, if you ask us) the answer is a resounding no. Fortunately, GQ went above and beyond their usual fun-loving spirit and gave us a good reason for it: Pantless Saturdays.
Their explanation for the three stars of "Scott Pligrim vs. The World" in all their uncensored glory involved "the might Spartans" and the idea that "Monday through Friday belongs to our bosses, Sunday to our Lord. But Saturday, if only for a precious few hours, it's all about the boys," but it doesn't matter. In fact, the picture speaks better for itself than with their explanation in my opinion, so there you have it.

The girls worked together this week to plan Ali's memorial dedication — a stone bench and fountain for kids to sit and reflect on the rumors Allison started about them - but nothing is ever easy in Rosewood: the return of Ali's brother, Jason (played by Penn Badgley knock-off Parker Bagley... see, even his name sounds the same!), paralyzing flashbacks and even the weather threaten to ruin the girl’s perfect service.
Jason's arrival (I wonder if you lose your affirmative action status when you are no longer goth …) got Detective Wilden back to work on the pesky little murder case no one can seem to solve, although admittedly, there is another missing person in Rosewood and it does takes time to get phone records when you don’t request them until more than a year later. (So Toby called Allison the night she disappeared? The plot never ceases to thicken.)

When we last left "Vampire Diaries," (you know...sitting at the edge of our seats, biting our nails off...) Damon (Ian Somerhalder) had just kissed "Elena," (Nina Dobrev) who turned out to be Katherine, who then went on a killing spree right as the real Elena walked through the door. Whew!
That was months ago, and since then we've been obsessing over one big question — did Damon know it was Katherine (he did have that slightly perplexed look on his face) and if not, would he find out?

The biggest news to hit the Twitterverse today....Angelina Jolie has joined! But, don't get too excited, Crushers, as the "Salt" star (who took over the previously taken account name @AngelinaJolie) has not only protected her tweets, but has no followers and isn't following anyone...yet! While we can't wait to see what Angie has to say in 140 characters or less, the news has bummed out another famous tweeters. Conan O'Brien joked, "Angelina Jolie is joining Twitter. If she thinks she can lure away my core audience of young male teens she.....I'm screwed."
Meanwhile, the cast of "iCarly" was keeping anything but quiet. Jennette McCurdy told fans, "It's pajama day here on the icarly set. Wearing pj's makes life more pleasant" and her co-star, Miranda Cosgrove, later tweeted, "Pajama Day on the iCarly set was a major success!"

Continuing with our juicy "True Blood" interviews from Comic-Con (yesterday we highlighted fans who want Joe Manganiello to lick them), we present you with this intriguing tidbit from Kristin Bauer (aka saucy fan-favorite, Pam), who, hints at a few things we’ll learn about her backstory by the end of the season, as well as a fun extra she did for the Season 2 Blue-Ray.
When asked how much of Pam’s backstory she is familiar with, Kristin said she learns a little more each season, along with fans. “For the first two seasons [Alexander Skarsgard] and I kept asking about our relationship, who we are, who Pam is, and then for the Season 2 Blue-Ray, I did 34 pages of Pam’s viewpoints, so Pam can pop up — I hope it is wonderful and not annoying — but it was really fascinating to find out when she was turned, what her life was like,” she said.

We'll be honest, when we first learned that Rihanna was going to make her acting debut in the upcoming flick "Battleship" (based off the board game), we were pretty surprised.
We love Rihanna as a singer, but as an actress? Really? Of course, we probably shouldn't be too shocked. After all, It's not uncommon for musicians to make the big-screen leap. In fact, many pop-tarts have paved the way for Rihanna (although, not always successfully!).
After the jump, check out our list of singers who made Hollywood debuts and find out ones which one proved their big screen worth and which ones totally bombed.

Chad Michael Murray back on TV? It's true! Sadly, it's not on "One Tree Hill," but we'll take what we can get. CMM will join "Pretty Little Liars" star Ashley Benson and pop star/actress Christina Milian in the ABC Family original movie "Ex-Mas Carol."
According to Just Jared Jr., the movie follows a gorgeous public relations maven who is immersed in her work, but gets a wake-up call after one of her clients falls into a coma and becomes a "Christmas Carol"-like ghost of Christmas past, present, and future, making her realize the error of her ways and reuniting with an angry ex-boyfriend. Essentially, it sounds like "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" mixed a little more closely with the original Charles Dickens source material, with a lady in the lead.

Zack Snyder has always had a talent for making completely epically awesome trailers for his films, regardless of whether they end up living up to the hype ("Watchmen," I'm looking at you). "Sucker Punch" looks like it is no different, though the trailer (which premiered on Apple last night) actually makes me feel like I know less after watching it than I did before. After all, if "Sucker Punch" is supposed to be "Alice in Wonderland" with machine guns, then why are there giant samurai and dragons?
Based on the reaction to the "Sucker Punch" footage shown at Comic-Con (which I believe included a lot of what we see in the trailer), the visual aspect of the film will hold true to the promise of the trailer. This is Zack's first film based solely off whatever madness goes on in his head, since the rest of them ("Dawn of the Dead," "300," "Watchmen" and the upcoming "Legend of the Guardians") were all adapted from other works. The success of "Sucker Punch" will most likely make or break Zack as a director, considering this is the first time he has only his own ideas to bring to the big screen.

Our dearest Joshua Jackson held something he called "Pacey-Con" last week, only feet away from that other con, Comic-Con. And, in a new Funny or Die video, our husband, we mean Joshua, explained why he thinks Pacey-Con is such an important cultural event. (We really don’t need an explanation — fyi — we just know it is!)
Josh bills his event as as "one of the year's biggest entertainment events… The only convention that celebrates all things Pacey Witter and 'Dawson's Creek' in the entire country." At the convention, he wears one of the infamous Pacey bowling shirts, meets the fans that devoted years to "this amazing character" and reads fan fiction, written by Josh himself.

What’s this we hear? Rihanna is helping to bring a board game to life? Yes, you heard it right. According to Variety, the pop star is set to star in “Battleship,” which is currently in production from director Peter Berg.
The feature film, which is based on the classic board game, marks Rihanna’s very first acting gig. The 22-year-old has had much success with her hit songs and winning two Grammy Awards with “Run This Town” this year alone.
But now, it’s onto acting for the Barbados bombshell. And with this movie in the works, has the music ship “sailed” for her? We couldn’t imagine, but who knows in this entertainment world!
