Katy Perry isn't just a "California Gurl," she's one lucky girl, too! It was announced last month that Katy would be hosting the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, but today we've learned that the singer will be joined by three of the most sought-after (not to mention, swooned-over) guys in the biz. Fox confirmed to UsMagazine.com that "Glee" stars Mark Salling, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith will be helping with hosting duties for the awards show.

It will be an exciting night for the guys, who are not only going to the awards show as hosts, but as nominees as well. Cory is up for Choice TV Actor: Comedy and Choice Smile, Mark is vying for TV's Male Breakout Star, and Chris could go home as viewer's favorite Male Scene Stealer. Of course, the same goes for Katy who is nominated for four Teen Choice Awards, herself.

You might want to retreat to a private place before reading the rest of this post, Crushers, because you're liable to squeal your face off in delight. Here's some amazing casting news (straight from the fine people at New York magazine) we couldn't even have made up if we tried: Zac Efron is in talks to star in the new Nicholas Sparks movie, “The Lucky One.” We'll let that sink in: Efron. Sparks. Together at last.

After getting our hopes up that Daniel Radcliffe would tackle the lead role in “The Lucky One,” which follows a soldier who returns from Iraq (to, where else, North Carolina) and hunts for the mystery woman in a photograph he carried during his tour of duty, Zac is most definitely one of the only people who could have satisfied our high hopes for the film's casting.

Stephanie Pratt recently decided to spend her post-"Hills" time in New York City. This had many fans wondering if her Big Apple jaunt would end up documented on that other MTV reality show, "The City." Well, Stephanie wants you to know that once and for all she is not joining the Whitney Port-lead series.

"No, I'm not going to be on 'The City.' I think the rumors got started because I came to New York two days [after 'The Hills' ended]," she told MTV News. "I totally get why they think that. It's not a ludicrous thought at all."

Today marked the first day of work on the set of "Footloose" for Julianne Hough (pictured), who told followers, "So excited! Headed to LA to start my first day of preproduction on Footloose! Gonna try on the infamous red boots!! :)." Elsewhere, Kim Kardashian joined forces with her sis to make an appearance on one of our favorite shows, tweeting, "Getting ready to film 90210 with @KhloeKardashian !!!"

While some stars had a fun start to the week, others had the less-than-glamorous task of attending jury duty. "Cougar Town" actress Busy Philipps posted, "Member how I had jury duty a few weeks ago? Well, I had to postpone so it's TODAY! Hooray for civil service! Hope I meet some characters..." Turns out, it's very possible to run into another recognizable face, much like it did for "America's Next Top Model" judge Jay Manuel who reported, "How random-Jo Lance a judge from Mexico's Next Top Model is serving jury duty with me 2day. Lol...All we need is @tyrabanks to show up. ;-)"

Chord OverstreetWith a name like Chord, you're destined to do something musical at one point in your life. So today's news that actor Chord Overstreet has just been cast as a recurring character on "Glee" shouldn't be terribly surprising.

According to a report, Chord will play Sam, a McKinley High jock who "starts off as Finn’s protégé but becomes his competition." Maybe Finn will take young Sam under his wing, teach him the secret to staying cool while playing sports and singing in glee club, and then all the girls will fall in love with Sam instead? Or maybe he'll prove to have better singing chops than Finn (not impossible — just sayin') and Rachel will obsess over him.

She’s known for her uber tight, skimpy, feminine outfits, and after wearing one her very own creations on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards, we just couldn’t wait what else this fist pumping girl had in store for us. Tonight JWoww’s highly anticipated clothing line Filthy Couture is being launched at the Las Vegas Fashion Show, and now her figure-hugging fashions are officially up for grabs on the Filthy Couture website!

So how did she come up with the name of her brand? “[The name] Filthy Couture came from people of the ‘Jersey Shore,’” she told MTV News. "The 'Jersey Shore' is a bunch of fist-pumpers and guidos and guidettes, and we all listen to the same type of music, which is house music, and everyone on the show says 'filthy beats' and that's where I kind of came up with it.”

Blake Lively is mostly known for playing a nice girl. In next year's "Green Lantern," she gets to play a badass fighter pilot, but she's still one of the good guys. However, later in the comic book series, her character turns to the dark side. At Comic-Con this weekend, MTV News asked Blake if she was ready for her good girl character to go bad.

"Oh my gosh, I would love to," she quickly replied. "To get to beat [Ryan Reynolds' character] up? Best day ever!"

This just in from the WWD: Taylor Momsen is the fresh face of John Galliano’s newest scent! Well, we wouldn’t go so far as to call Taylor’s face fresh, but she is young! In fact, today is her seventeenth birthday. Happy Birthday, Taylor!

Come to think of it, if in a few years from now Taylor were to appear on that hit MTV show “When I Was 17," she would have lots of impressive stories to share with our viewers.
