Now that Comic-Con 2010 is over, there's plenty of buzz swirling about a plethora of action filled sci-fi flicks — including a movie that's “Alice in Wonderland” with machine guns? Now, that’s a concept that catches our attention!
Director Zack Snyder’s newest film “Sucker Punch” has a group of kick ass young girls entering an alternate dream world to escape their ill-fated reality. And who are these fighter chicks you may ask? They are none other than the petite bunch- Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, Jena Malone and Jamie Chung.

With "True Blood" enjoying its hightest-rated season yet (which we couldn't be more excited about) so, too, are the actors, as was evidenced by their hugely popular and very well-attended panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Much of their success, of course, is due to the ever-growing fan fervor for the show's talented (and attractive) cast members. When MTV caught up with new fan favorites, Joe Manganiello and Kristin Bauer, who play broken-hearted werewolf Alcide and sassy, no-nonsense vampire Pam, we asked them to share a few choice fan encounters, and they revealed a few surprising requests.

Any movie that stars both Cam Gigandet and Stephen Moyer has us sold, but the fact that "Priest" is also about vampires really put our excitement over the top. Anyone looking forward to Cam playing a role similar to that of James in "Twilight" should continue to hold their breath, though, because he told us at Comic-Con that the only thing "Priest" has in common with "Twilight" is that there are vampires.
"It's very, very different from 'Twilight,' " he said. "The similarities kind of end with what they're called, which is vampires."

Just moments ago the "Vampire Diaries" panel concluded at Comic-Con 2010 and we're here with your minute-by-minute report. Between the laughs, sarcastic comments (cgi abs, anyone?) and uber attractiveness of the cast gracing the stage (Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen and Matt Davis. Plus, executive producers/writers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec), it was hard for us to pick out our favorite part!
4:30pm Marcos Siega, who has directed several episodes (as well as "True Blood" and other shows) moderates. A Season 1 sizzle reel opens the panel.
4:35 Ian's arrival gets the biggest cheer, followed by Paul and Nina.

There’s nothing quite like watching a big action star get all mushy about a project (really, there isn’t… watch the clip for yourself!). During MTV News and MySpace’s live stream Friday (July 23) to promote “Tron Legacy,” Garrett Hedlund relished the opportunity to gush about his fellow actors in both “Tron” and the upcoming adaptation “On the Road.”
“I’ve been on [‘On the Road’] since the fall of ’07, and it’s sort of been on my mind since then,” Garrett told MTV News' Josh Horowitz. “When we jump onto projects like this, we’ve sort of got to tie that kite to a post and hope that it’s still flying as high as it was when you come back to it. Luckily, now with coming off ‘Tron’ and going into that, we’ve got to take that kite off.”

The hottest place to be this weekend is in San Diego for the 2010 Comic-ConNina Dobrev tweeted, "San Diego/Comicon here we come!" But, no one seemed more excited for the festivities than "Glee" star Chris Colfer who told fans, "This nerd can't wait for Comic-Con! Have I ever mentioned how odd it is meeting someone you used to have an action figure of?"
Whether or not you're on your way to Comic-Con, you can still give a listen to Katy Perry's latest super-catchy tune (which of her songs aren't though?), "Teenage Dream." Last night Katy joked about the cover (pictured), "My alternate album cover for Teenage Dream... Are you glad I went with the 1st? http://twitpic.com/27qbi7." But, she was all business today writing, "My new song, 'TEENAGE DREAM' just invaded airwaves! It's on ITUNES today!" The song already found a fan in actress Kat Dennings who tweeted, "@katyperry 'Teenage Dream' makes me wanna fall in love...damn this girl writes the hits!
