Let’s all take a minute to wish a fabulous birthday to one Demi Lovato! The Disney starlet is finally turning 18 today, and to help her celebrate we’re going to reflect on her career thus far. She really hasn’t done much in her 18 years on this planet at all, right? Wrong! Let’s take a look back...
For starters, she’s spending the summer on a 45-city tour with the Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers! That’s a pretty good way to spend your big day, if you don’t mind us saying so!
Additionally, Demi is one of those girls who can do it all. She has a hit TV show, "Sonny with a Chance" on Disney Channel, and her most recent album, Here We Go Again, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Chart last summer! She stars in the sequel to her hit movie "Camp Rock," "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," which debuts on the Disney Channel on September 3rd. And she knows when to showcase her dramatic acting chops like she did in an episode of "Grey’s Anatomy"!
Demi has great friends like Selena Gomez and the JoBros. She has a supportive family — her sister Madison De La Garza plays Gabby’s daughter Juanita on "Desperate Housewives." And her star is most definitely on the rise.
For someone who started out as a friend of Barney, the big purple dinosaur, we think Demi’s done pretty well for herself. Here’s to Demi and another fabulous 18 years in Hollywood! Let’s hope she’s not still starring in Disney Channel movies when she’s in her 30s though!
