Is there any better way to start the week than getting brand spankin' new "Glee" news? Getting lots of brand spankin' new "Glee" news! E! made our Monday morning bearable (but our countdown to the season two premiere of "Glee" even less so) by letting gleeks in on some juicy new details.
Fans have been champing at the bit since the announcement of the upcoming all-Britney Spears episode. But the pop star's appearance on set also caused a stir among the cast and crew. Creator Ryan Murphy told E! that having Brit around was like "having the President" and security was so tight everyone had to wear wristbands and face interrogations! Ryan also spilled that he got to hear some of Britney's new music and calls it "a great return to form for her."

Mandy Moore is one of those rare singer/actresses who, despite coming of age and fame around the same time as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, etc. has carved out a successful Hollywood career without becoming tabloid fodder. Perhaps the fact that she is so gosh darn nice--seriously, ten minutes on the phone with her feels like a telecommunicative hug--is some of the secret to her success.
While chatting with Mandy recently to discuss her voice work in the upcoming Disney fairy tale "Tangled," (which we are so psyched to see--but more on that in the coming weeks), we asked her for a little insider scoop on her return to "Grey's Anatomy" this fall.

Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse might have been going through a rough patch on "True Blood" recently, but things are swell for real-life loves Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin. The on- and off-screen couple made things official this weekend at their beachside wedding in California on Saturday night.
"Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday evening in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends," their publicist confirmed to People.

With a plethora of funny flicks for moviegoers to pick from this weekend (with "The Switch", "Piranha 3D", and "Vampires Suck" there really is something for everyone) the cast of "Lottery Ticket" made sure to get the word out about their comedy, also opening today, on Twitter. Naturi Naughton (pictured) tweeted, "The 20th is here! Thanks2all my fans4 being so supportive!I hope u all enjoy "#LotteryTicket":)" while the movie's main star, Bow Wow, suggested to followers, "Remember turn your cell phones off in theater. Get a nice big slushy and some popcorn and enjoy "Lottery Ticket" all weekend long."
Members of the Kardashian clan didn't want to waste a moment on Twitter either, making sure to remind fans about this weekend's season premiere of their E! reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The family matriarch Kris Jenner wrote, "Omg!! 2 more days until season premier of Keeping Up With The Kardashians!! Woohoo!! Gonna be amazing!" and Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney's little sis Kendall Jenner posted, "ahhhh only TWO MORE DAYS till the SEASON FIVE PREMIER of KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS!"

When the upcoming Britney Spears episode of "Glee" was confirmed in early July, we weren't too surprised. Back when it was still just a rumor, we had hoped to see Dianna Agron get a chance to shake her stuff as Britney, but it looks like Heather Morris will don the pop princess's tiara.
Get it, because her character's name is Brittany? Clever clever, Ryan Murphy.

If the season finale of "Vampire Diaries" left us on the edge of our seats, then this season two preview clip, which premiered on People.com, practically has us falling off.
Get ready for the year of the 'Kat' — at least that's what the preview teases, and boy are we there.

We've been huge fans of the celebrity interview in Interview magazine in the past. They brought us gems like Ashley Greene being interviewed by Michael Sheen, and Megan Fox being interviewed by Zach Galifianakis (be still my heart), but this month's big interview just had us cringing just a little.
The celebrity subject was none other than Blake Lively, who is shaping up to have a big 2010 and 2011 between the fourth season of "Gossip Girl," "The Town" and "Green Lantern." However, we would have much preferred her being interviewed by Ryan Reynolds, or maybe even her boyfriend Penn Badgley. Anyone instead of Ben Affleck as the conversation didn't flow quite as well as we'd hoped it would.

Regardless of whether or not you decided you like Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman's chemistry in "The Switch" (out today!), you'd better get used to it, because we're in for a lot more. The two of them are working together again in the ensemble flick "Horrible Bosses," and Jason told MTV News that he had a role destined for Jennifer in the long-awaited "Arrested Development" movies.
But three comedies? Really? We've decided that we think they ought to switch things up a bit and try out some different genres. Here are some other types of films we think they'd totally rock together in.
