It seems like we just finished over-analyzing the OMG-moment-filled season three finale of "Gossip Girl," but amazingly enough, the premiere of the fourth season is now only a few days away!
When we caught up with series star Penn Badgley (aka potential baby daddy Dan Humphrey) recently to discuss his absolutely adorable and must-see performance in the upcoming "Easy A," we couldn’t help but pester him for a few "GG" details—beginning with his rating of Dan's parenting skills (should the baby prove to be his/be delivered).
"Oh, he's a 10," Badgley said right away. "That is when his best qualities come out, is when he's being a father, which he may or may not be. I don't know," he teased. "There's really not a lot I can say about what actually happens, but theoretically he would be a great father."
So theoretically speaking, might Dan write about his parenting experiences for, say, The New Yorker?
"He probably would want to write about it for The New Yorker, but it would probably get in a parenting magazine," he said. "Because as much as he strives, he's a bit of an underachiever I feel like, in the end."
Regarding how the baby may or may not affect his problem-plagued relationship with Serena, Penn couldn't say. "What is their relationship now? God, it's so convoluted… Well you’ll have to watch to find out because that is something that will be explored."
