In Hollywood, no matter how famous you are, it seems that just about every celebrity has that one person they are dying to meet. Who knows, maybe George Clooney is secretly dying to meet Robert Pattinson? You just never know with these people.
Part of what makes awards shows like the VMAs so much fun is the chance to bring all of these stars together. This is especially the case for the cast of "Jersey Shore," who, while famous for partying and GTL-ing it up, haven't had a chance to meet all the celebrities they love. So who, of all the talent at the VMAs, was Vinny dying to meet?
"Selena Gomez," he said, quickly adding, "if she's 18."
Well Vinny, Selena is 18, but when you phrase it like that, it's pretty obvious why you're trying to hang out with the Disney princess. She admitted to MTV when we caught up with her later that she was a big "Jersey Shore" fan, but when informed that Vinny wanted to hang out with her as long as she was 18 years old, her enthusiasm did not stretch that far.
"Tonight, I'm not 18!" Selena said quickly. "My mom would kill me! I will say I am a very big fan though, a very big fan, and I do look forward to meeting them, but that's as far as it goes."
