This weekend, it's all about the battle of Blake Lively vs. Penn Badgley. No, the adorable "Gossip Girl" couple haven't split, they just both happen to have movies opening this Friday! While the two flicks, "The Town" and "Easy A," respectively, couldn't be more different, both are already getting rave reviews ("The Town" is "certified fresh" at 86% on Rotten Tomatoes and "Easy A" is making the grade at 75%).
Blake (whose previous film work includes "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants") stars in the gritty Boston bank robbery drama as Ben Affleck's (he also directed the movie) former flame. She appears alongside a few other Hollywood heavyweights (and, we can all agree here, hotties) such as Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner.
On the other end of the box office we have "Easy A," a smart teen comedy (inspired by the classic book "The Scarlet Letter") in which a high school student named Olive (Emma Stone) gets a reputation for (not actually) getting busy with her classmates. The movie, which has no shortage of star power either (Amanda Bynes, Stanley Tucci and Lisa Kudrow, just to name a few) has Penn playing Emma's love interest "Woodchuck" Todd.
Of course, Penn and Blake aren't the only stars from "Gossip Girl" who have graduated to the big screen. Leighton Meester most recently made a cameo in the romantic comedy "Going the Distance" and Jessica Szohr took a bite out of this summer's horror comedy "Piranha 3D." Since we think the voice of "Gossip Girl", Kristen Bell, is a bona fide movie star already, we were curious to know which star you think will have the biggest film career.
