Some of our favorite gals (and guys) stepped out in their best—and in some cases, worst—autumn attire for the premiere of "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" in L.A. yesterday. Stars Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung and Jenna Malone all strutted their stuff in support of director Zack Snyder, who helmed both "Legend of the Guardians" and their upcoming prison girl drama "Sucker Punch."
Vanessa (sans bearded bf Zac Efron, boo!) arrived at the premiere in a floral mini-dress, paired with a tan belt and matching shoes. While we were fans of Vanessa's daytime look, we felt it was a bit too casual for a red (or in this case, black) carpet. Emily also stepped out to support the film in a fall-ready, bright, purple dress with reddish/orange tones. Unlike Vanessa though, Emily managed to avoid looking too casual by pairing her outfit with black tights.
Jamie was by far one of our red carpet faves from the night, wearing chic beige trousers and a white top. The outfit risked being a little too business casual, but Jamie managed to add some oomph by rocking a see-through tee and a silver necklace. While Jamie's sheer top helped her land a spot in the best-dressed category, we can't say the same for Jenna Malone. Jenna wore a beige and brown skirt with a sheer black crop top and nude shoes. We thought her look was too disjointed and would have liked to see her with some brighter makeup.
We've got to say, when it comes to style, boys Ryan Kwanten and Jim Sturgess definitely out-shined the girls on the carpet last night. We absolutely loved Ryan's black V-neck button down sweater and thought Jim looked totally dashing in a dark suit (although, it would have been nice to see him with a more trimmed down hairstyle!).

Which of last night's looks were your faves?
